In January, it’s always fun when we look back to see what your favorite posts of the previous year were. This year, I pulled two different lists–our top ten overall posts (written at any point in time over the past nine years) and our top ten posts that were written in 2019.
Interestingly, there’s zero overlap in the two lists. Why are they different? Well, the longer a blog post has been around, the more it’s been shared on social media and pinned on Pinterest. The readers who come to read those older posts often read just one or two things and then leave. The posts from the previous year that were read the most show us what our regular readers like to see, so we often plan our content calendar accordingly.
First I’ll share our top ten posts from 2019 (from #10 to #1), and then I’ll share our top ten blog posts of all time. You might just find a few that you’ve never seen before–with over 1800 posts in our archives, that’s almost guaranteed!

It’s always so interesting to see what appeals to people…and we certainly try to provide something for everyone since we write about a little bit of everything. If you have any special requests for 2020, just leave a comment and let us know. We’ve already had a few requests for fashion over 50 and 60 and even though that’s not quite our area of expertise (yet) we do have some fashionable older friends who will be helping us come up with some ideas.
We’re grateful for each and every one of you who reads our blog…thank you for stopping by in 2019!

This blog is definitely one of the earlier ones I started following, and I smile seeing all of these pictures!! One of my favorites was the IKEA bookcase wall unit. Goodness I can still drool seeing that post again! ha Yet, like anything else, it shows your readers, and I’m no exception, are with you every step of the journey……… and looking forward to what is shared/taught in the new year! Thank you!
