I knew it was only a matter of time before I fell down the Amazon Fashion rabbit hole. I’ve seen posts here and there with cute things, but as great as Amazon is it can be hard to dig through millions of items to find those really worthwhile things. I spent some time recently looking at what they had to offer and seeing what other bloggers have had success with and decided I’d try out a few things to show you all.
Sweater (comes in 13 colors, $20) | White Jeans | Purse | Boots | Earrings
This is a hard time of year for clothes, where I am in Virginia we are still in the thick of winter. In fact, we have about 6″ of snow on the ground. In some more southern areas (lucky!) spring is around the corner, so I tried to focus on outfits that would bridge the gap, such as lighter weight sweaters in pale colors that are still warm enough for chilly early spring days. I had to sneak in some spring break items at the end of the post too. It can’t come too soon!
Ordering clothes from Amazon was probably inevitable. I pretty much order anything I can from them to save running around, I have Prime so I don’t pay the shipping and consider it well worth the investment. Since they offer free returns (in most cases) it’s a relatively low-risk idea. Also, I’ll mention that some fashion items are their own (The ‘Amazon Essentials’) and they ship quickly, other items come from overseas and those take longer. There are a few items like this sweatshirt and these spring shoes that I hoped to show off today but couldn’t because they are still en route.
I already mentioned this v-neck sweater in an earlier post, but I really love it and you sure can’t beat the price. It’s a lightweight, nice quality sweater and this pretty pale beige is a great spring transition color. I really love it with white jeans for spring. On a normal day I’d pair it with these shoes, which I finally broke down and ordered, but they haven’t arrived so I am showing you with heels to show how great the leopard/white/taupe combo works together. This will be a favorite for spring. I’d say the sweater is true to size but keep in mind it is designed to be less fitted.
Sweater | Jeggings | Booties | Tank | Purse | Necklace
My second outfit is another ultra-versatile, inexpensive sweater also by Amazon Fashion. It’s a lightweight cardigan in a trendy longer length. You can pair this with a tank for warmer days, add a camisole to dress it up, or for more warmth wear with my favorite v-neck top. This is a great outfit to run errands, volunteer at school, or catch a movie. I am ready for the snow to melt so I can bring back my favorite spring booties! This sweater runs a bit larger so size down if you are in between sizes.
Now, there has been much buzz about these leggings. These seem to always be the top item in Amazon Haul posts, so I had to check them out for myself. You all know we love our Zella Live-In Leggings to death, but I have to say these are a great option and are about half the price.
I looked at them side by side and the only obvious difference is that the Amazon ones have a bit more fabric in the calves, both looked similar in size (these are both size small) but the Zella ones were even a hair smaller. The Amazon pair had more shine to the fabric, the Zella pair was a little more matte (though my Zellas have been worn for about a year, and frequently at that) but the Amazon pair felt like it was equal in quality. These would be a great option if you don’t want to spring for the Zella pair or just need a second pair of black leggings, because who doesn’t?
Finally, one fun small thing I ordered were these earrings. Tortoiseshell is hot for jewelry, and these are just $10 (though this color is called “leopard”). They will be fun for spring even casually with jeans and a white tee and sandals, you can find them HERE.
I spent a long time looking at other items and here are a few spring break items I found that will be packed in my suitcase…This suit is made by CupShe (which I have heard good things about) and sold by Amazon. This bathing suit is the number one best seller in women’s suits! I actually really love the olive color, though the blue and black are both tempting too. It is less than $30, which is really a great price for a bathing suit.
I’ll wrap up there because truly, this can be a rabbit hole! There are tons of cute things, I just wanted to show some of the greatest hits, and I was for the most part surprised by the quality of the items that I ordered. I’m sure I’ll have more things to share in the future as soon as spring starts to set in. In the meantime, enjoy your weekend everyone!

love all the outfits you are showing but the black flats you are wearing with the long grey sweater are so cute. Where did they come from?
