We’ve split the last couple of weeks between upstate New York and Alabama, and the weather has been incredibly similar in both locations–cold, gray, and rainy. I always have to remember that March is still a winter month, despite it ushering in spring.
Because I’m expecting a few more weeks of rain, today I thought I’d share some raincoats and trenchcoats that are cheerful enough to beat back the winter/spring blahs. I have a bright yellow and a bright pink one and can attest that they’re way more fun to wear than black and khaki.

If you’re looking for a new coat, be sure to scroll through to the end of the post where I’m sharing more options than I’m going to have space to showcase in the post. Here are my favorites:

Talbots gingham coat (not on sale but you can sign up for emails for a discount)

Cole Haan red trench (and it’s on sale!)

Draper James gingham jacket (also on sale)

New York & Co purple trench–under $60 and comes in six colors

Sam Edelman orange trench (on sale)

J Crew Factory classic khaki trench (also comes in black). It’s on sale and I love that it goes from size 00 up to 24.

Boden pink trench (also comes in khaki); on sale

Via Spiga royal blue trench; on sale, five colors
If you don’t love one of those, check out the other ones I’ve rounded up for you. For plus sizes, there’s a gorgeous kelly green from Target. I’m also a big fan of the bright yellow one.
Stay dry, friends, and thanks for stopping by!
