Pretty Spring Dresses

Pretty spring dresses for graduations, weddings and vacations, perfect for those of us over-forty!

We shared on Instagram a collection of pretty spring dresses this week, it is that time of year where you may need to dress up for a graduation, wedding shower, wedding or other event. I also find that when it’s hot, wearing a flowing dress is just comfortable, and dresses seem to be more popular than ever right now.

I came across this embroidered dress and it sent me down this shopping hole, I thought it was super versatile, perfect for everything for a vacation dinner to a dressier summer event. It’s also navy, though it looks black.

I then discovered this gorgeous green dress (it also comes in black), while it looks like it would call for some pretty efficient shapewear underneath, I thought it was worth sharing, it’s so pretty!

I love flowy, embroidered dresses for spring and summer. This one below would be perfect for a graduation (especially on a hot day) or wedding shower.

I almost ordered this striped dress below for my son’s graduation, though the larger sizes are already sold out. This retailer has tons of gorgeous dresses though, I purchase from here often and most of their items are less than $100.

This green dress below is in my cart, it’s very affordable and I love the fun pattern. This is a great all-around summer dress.

Below is another affordable dress that is similar to above but with longer sleeves, and a trendy block-print pattern. These dresses come in other colors and patterns too.

Target has 30% off quite a few categories this week, including clothes and shoes. Here are two finds for you. This dress below is only $29 for circle members, and comes in quite a few colors.

Finally, shoes are also part of the Target promotion. I have had my eye on these sandals for weeks, once they price dropped this week I snatched up a pair, they also come in black. I love the buckle detail!
