This post is sponsored by Walmart; however, all opinions are my own.
It’s that time of year again, and I’m looking forward to seeing family and friends we’ve missed while we were overseas! We’ve got a lot of fun things on our social calendar and so I was excited to pair up with Walmart again to showcase their holiday fashion.
Our activities run the gamut from casual lunches and dinners, to cocktail parties, to evenings at the ballet and theater, or a day spent Christmas shopping and drinking coffee with friends, so I picked a variety of outfits to share with you guys. Most of the pieces can be mixed and matched to dress them up or down–perfect for those of you who want a few key pieces to add to a capsule wardrobe.
I loved this silver sequined tank top and paired with with black velvet flare pants that are shot through with silver. The tank top is really well-made and is fully lined. This outfit is a great choice for an evening event; throw on a black jacket or wrap if it’s chilly where you are (it’s still pretty warm here in NC). For comparison, I’m wearing a medium in the top (I probably could have worn a small) and a 6 in the pants.
I’ll link the items I’m wearing in each picture right underneath, and then again at the end of the post.
This cute velvet blazer has gold buttons and pairs well with pants or jeans, heels or flats. I’ll show it with both, depending on how dressy you want to be. I’m wearing a medium and probably could have worn a small.
I love a good turtleneck sweater and this one comes in several colors–I bought two and am considering another one. The price can’t be beat and it is SO soft. Wear it tucked or untucked depending on your look. Honestly, it’s a great gift idea, too.
Also, these watch plaid pants were an unexpected favorite. They’re cotton and super comfortable. I’m wearing a 6. They also come in a black and white houndstooth pattern that is absolutely adorable. I think both patterns could go from work, to errands, to a party, depending on the top and shoes you pair with them.
This is the same sweater in my favorite shade of green–I told you I love it.
I dressed it down with white jeans and black pointy flats, and then styled it with chelsea boots and denim.
Yes, that’s another turtleneck sweater, but this one is long enough to wear with leggings. Red is always the perfect color for the holidays, right? These are the Pioneer Woman’s faux leather leggings and I’m wearing a medium.
I dressed it down a little more with jeans and boots.

Love your new haircut! Looks great on you and it’s still very versatile. I never knew Walmart carried such beautiful clothes since our store is quite small. I need to look into ordering more! lol

Thanks, Nita! I love it now that I’ve gotten used to it. Definitely check out the Walmart clothes online as they have a much better selection than the stores do. Take care!
