As promised, I’m back today with Part 2 of my friend Ashly’s holiday home tour (see Part 1 here). The photos are beautiful, but it’s even more stunning in real life, plus she served me the yummiest soup for lunch the day I went over to shoot.
You can also see her 2017 tour (here) and her 2016 tour (here). You’ll notice that 2016 is a different home since they moved locally–I can certainly relate to that!
Part 1 featured the exterior, living and dining rooms, and office. Today I’m going to start in the kitchen and family room and then show you the bedrooms and screened porch.
The family room is open to the kitchen and breakfast room.
Ashly added the barn door to the laundry closet that’s off the family room and built the shelf for folding laundry (you can see Amy’s tutorial on how to do that here).
The screened porch is accessed off the breakfast room and the windows are the ones on either side of the fireplace in the living room.
I also wanted to show you a quick peek into the powder room because Ashly’s little vignettes are so pretty.
The master bedroom is peaceful in whites and neutrals.
Ashly’s daughter is one of my daughter’s best friends. Her room has evolved over the years but is still just perfect for a teenager.
Last but not least, here’s a quick look at Ashly’s son’s room. You can tell at a glance that he’s all about Star Wars and football.
Here’s a quick peek at their side door (the one I usually use) and the side of the garage:
Ashly, thank you for sharing your home with us! Here’s Part 1 if you missed it, and if you want to see her previous tours, here’s her 2017 home tour and here’s her 2016 home tour.
