2019 Holiday Gift Guide for Women & Girls

Have you started holiday shopping yet? My intention is always to get my shopping done early so I have plenty of time to wrap and do fun things close to Christmas but despite my best efforts, I am usually frantically finishing the wrapping on Christmas Eve! With that being said, we’re launching our first holiday gift guide, this one for the women in your life (so this may or may not include the things we’re hoping for too!). We’ve included ideas in all price ranges for women and girls so we can all get a jump start on our gifts. Here’s to being done early this year!

Christy and I both have daughters, hers is a full-blown teenager and mine is just a tween pretending to be a teenager so at the bottom I shared some gift ideas for those of you shopping for younger girls. I tried to find things that are great gifts for teachers, neighbors, sisters, mothers and friends and such too; gifts for all ages and in all price ranges.

This item always tops every list, but probably because I think it is the best gift idea (and if you don’t have one put one on your list to Santa)–The Barefoot Dreams Cardigan. There are several styles, but these are the softest, coziest sweater around. I wear mine in place of a robe in the mornings and often reach for it when I get home and am getting into my comfy clothes. I have gifted these to my mother, mother in law and have gotten rave reviews all around.

I have a summer pair, the pair above and I have a second on my wish list so I don’t have to go without when my first pair is in the wash. They are that good–so soft, lightweight and just pretty. Mine are holding up great, though I try to line dry them when I can.

You can’t go wrong with classic diamond (or cubic zirconia) studs. I wear mine to just about anything, these are less than $40 and come in several metals and stone colors. This is a great gift for a woman of any age.

I know some would say a vacuum is not a good gift, but in this case I am making an exception because the Dyson cordless vacuum makes life so much easier. Going back to a corded vac is so hard for me now, this you can just pull out and quickly clean up a hardwood floor or a rug. There are several makes and models available, depending on your pets/size of your home. I have the V7 and don’t have the ‘Animal’ even though I have two animals and it works fine.

Moving on to Teen and Tween girls–here are a few gift ideas if you are shopping for younger girls.

The HydroFlask is the thing for girls right now, it is part of the environmentally conscious VSCO girl trend. What I love is that it encourages my daughter to drink more water, she thinks it’s cool and I like that she can take it to school instead of bringing a disposable water bottle. They also keep drinks cold for hours. I still love my Yeti Tumbler but for a younger girl, this would be a great gift.

If she’s a younger teen, these LED strip lights are also a hot gift right now. They create a colorful glow around their room at night, these are at the very top of my daughter’s wish list.
