Today I am sharing another gift guide, with ideas for the ladies in your life. I wanted to do it a little differently this year and instead of thinking of just popular gift ideas, I made a list of the essential items I would suggest that a women *should* own. These are the things that are a bit of an indulgence but that stand the test of time, and are things maybe she wouldn’t think to buy for herself. This way you can consider them as gift idea for a special mother, mother-in-law, daughter, sister or friend, or you just might want to add an idea or two to your own wish list in case you don’t already own it. I have tried to include gifts in all price ranges, and I tried to focus on ideas that won’t go out of style.
This was top of my list and while I don’t own one (yet), Christy travels with her J. Crew wrap and I am always jealous of it. This functions as a wrap for warmth, a blanket when you travel or as a chic oversized shawl style scarf for every day wear. The best part is today it’s 50% off and comes in a variety of colors here.
Next on the list is a beautiful pair of leather gloves, ideally made from Italian leather. These come in all price ranges, but this pair is around $30 so you won’t be heartbroken if it falls out of your coat pocket, but you’ll still feel elegant wearing them. Another option is this pair of cashmere texting gloves, they are a true indulgence but really would make a lovely gift.
A COZY BAREFOOT DREAMS CARDIGAN
Another gift we’ve shared before but this always makes the top of the list, a Barefoot Dreams cardigan. What I love about these cozy sweaters is that they can be worn like a bathrobe but without the bulk. These are also very nice for traveling, or just a day on the couch with a good book. I have had mine for years and wear it pretty much daily and it has held up nicely, this line is excellent quality in all its’ products. I also love their bathrobes.
The next item I’d suggest that every woman needs in her jewelry box is a statement necklace like this layered one. I selected this one as while it isn’t expensive, it will transition from daytime or work to an evening out. At the lower price point it’s easy to travel with (again, if something happens to it it’s replaceable) and it goes with just about everything. For younger women, a Kendra Scott pendant necklace is perfect (and also on sale).
Perfect for someone who loves fashion, a statement making belt is the perfect accessory. This croc one is on sale for Cyber Monday, and the light color would work nicely for almost any outfit.
CLASSIC EARRINGS
A nice, quality pair of classic earrings is the next best thing to the real thing, but easier on the budget. A traditional style of earring like these CZ studs can be worn just about anywhere. This pair of pearl drop earrings would make a lovely stocking stuffer at less than $10.
A true luxury, a silk pillowcase is better to sleep on for your skin and hair and also is just nicer. This would make a lovely gift for a woman of any age.
A beautiful set of stationary also falls into the something everyone must own category, as there are times when you just need to write a handwritten note. These pretty pink monogrammed cards are available here. There are all sorts of colors and patterns here.
A nice gift for someone who loves to travel or maybe already has everything. This website is full of great ideas for a traveler like luggage, packing cubes or these monogrammed passport covers.
Also a luxurious gift, a classic, cashmere sweater can be dressed up or down. They are often on sale at this time of year, this one is discounted right now and comes in many colors. Another classic version is available here, I think the ivory is a timeless choice.
You don’t appreciate owning one until you need it, but a pretty umbrella is a nice item to have. This clear one offers good protection and isn’t tacky. This one is a bit more upscale with the Coach label. Another option is this Barbour mini plaid umbrella which is so cute.
