I’m back with a bonus home tour, courtesy of my dear friend Ashly, who graciously shared her home with us in 2017 (see it here) and 2016 (see it here). She has one of the loveliest, most welcoming homes I’ve ever seen, and she is a pro at finding amazing thrift/antique/estate sale finds and working them into her decor.
I took so many pictures this year that I’m going to divide her tour up into two posts (I’ll share part 2 on Wednesday). If you have questions about sources for anything in her home, just comment or email and I’ll ask her for additional information.
They’ve been in this house just over two years and obviously she’s already made it into a home; I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves…
Her front entry opens into an open-concept living room and dining room. I think you’ll agree that she has an amazing collection of blue and white porcelain that’s on display throughout her home–some of it’s inherited, and some of it’s “gathered.”
To the right of the living and dining room is the master bedroom, the powder room, and Ashly’s office. I’ll share the master and the powder room on Wednesday since this is getting long and photo-heavy, but her office isn’t to be missed:
I hope you loved part one of Ashly’s home tour–I promise that it looks even better in real life and she doesn’t have piles of papers anywhere in the house (or maybe she hid them in a closet for my visit!). I’ll be back in a few days with part two.
EDIT: Click HERE for Part 2 of this home tour
Ashly, thank you for being willing to share your home with us. If you want to see more of Ashly’s lovely home, here’s her 2017 home tour and here’s her 2016 home tour.

Beautiful home! I love all the blue and white pottery and would like to know her favorite shops where she find it. Also, where did she find the blue and white ball ornaments on the small tree in the office? Thank you!
Christy says
Hey, Elizabeth–her blue and white pieces are inherited or gathered from thrift and antique stores or estate and yard sales. She’s a pro at finding great things for a great deal. As for the blue and white ornaments in her office, she decoupaged them using a pack of blue and white napkins. Hope that helps–she has a lovely home, doesn’t she?!

Lovely home. Can’t wait to see the rest of it! I am curious how Ashly attached the larger wreaths to the mirrors in the entry and above the mantel. Command hooks, perhaps?
Christy says
Yes–you’re exactly right–Command hooks! So glad you enjoyed the tour, Tracy. I love photographing it every year for you all, too.Happy holidays!
