With just two days left before Christmas, my friend Danielle’s holiday home tour is the perfect way to usher in the holiday. Her home is so warm and welcoming (just like she is) and every year she very graciously allows me to take dozens of photos to share.
If you missed her previous tours, here’s {2017} and {2016}. This year’s tour is going to be in two parts (I’ll share part 2 tomorrow) because there’s so much to see!
Danielle and her family live in downtown Southern Pines, just a minute from me, and while their home is also quaint and old, it’s beautifully finished and maintained. (You can see more on her Facebook page, Camellia Cottage!)
New this year was a Williamsburg-style fruit fan over the front door (yes, she did it herself).
Their sweet pup, Pearl, posed for a glamour shot on the front porch.
You’ll see a common theme throughout Danielle’s home: horses and hunting.
Today I’ll share her living room and tomorrow I’ll be back with the rest of her home. I’m not going to try to link to sources since so much of her decor is antique, custom, or vintage, but if you’d like to know where something specific came from, please let me know and I’ll ask her.
Enjoy!
Please come back tomorrow (Christmas Eve!) to visit part 2 (update: see it here), and thanks for stopping by!

So enjoy seeing her lovely home every year. Just gorgeous. Love all the simple red bows. And, is that a Golden on that darling footstool? If it goes missing…

What a beautiful home. I’d like to know the name of the paint color she used throughout her home because it all blended so well.

Thanks, Pat! It is pretty, isn’t it? She said it’s Macadamia by Sherwin-Williams.
