When I asked some blogging friends to share their closet redos, there were a ton of great master closets (see that post here), but several of them shared great ideas for offices, craft rooms, kids’ rooms, and linen closets, so today I thought I’d share those with you for some Sunday inspiration.
All of the original posts are linked below so you can see all the great before and after pictures and how-tos. Enjoy!
Monica Wants It organized her office closet to make it beautiful and functional, and she did it for under $150. The pink doors add such a pretty pop of color, too–I think they’re a great idea!

Annie at DIY Decor Mom took her linen closet and made it fabulous. If you host guests frequently then you know how important it is to be able to see at a glance where you stand on sheets, towels, and supplies. She even had room on the door for gift wrapping supplies–such a great use of space!
Brooke at Cribbs Style took a hall closet that was stuffed full of kid clutter and made an organized drop zone. I love how she created space for all the essentials and made it beautiful at the same time.

Amber Oliver needed vertical storage in her craft closet so she built shelving to hold everything. She shares her step-by-step instructions so you can DIY your own, too.
If you’re lucky enough to have a guest room closet, then it usually has to do double duty–actually having some space for guests to hang clothes, and serving as additional household storage. Monica Wants It reorganized her guest closet for under $100 and was able to beautify her closet and maximize space.
Ashley at Attempts at Domestication shares her best tips for organizing a bathroom closet (this is always one of my trouble areas!!).
Kandice at Just the Woods tackled a small closet and completely gutted it. She then walks step by step through installing a prefabricated closet organizer and really maximizing space. If you’re a DIY’er who likes to see how to do a project before getting started, this is the perfect post for you!
Jessica at The Vanderveen House and her husband are fearless DIY’ers; they built their own closet storage in every space throughout their home and they look amazing! In her post she shares each of the spaces and how they maximized space and organization–there are some great tips here!
Chelsea at Making Home Base customized an IKEA storage unit for this sweet kids’ closet. Now they have the perfect combination of hanging and folded storage and everything looks perfectly tidy!
What do you do when you have a room that needs a closet? You create your own out of thin air! Julie at My Wee Abode shows her very creative solution that uses a room divider screen–genius!
I hope these beautifully streamlined spaces have given you some great ideas. After reading Amy’s post on her ten winter wardrobe items that she wears all the time, I’m so motivated to get to sorting and organizing!
Enjoy your Sunday, and thanks for stopping by.
