You can also see the white ruffled shower curtain reflected in the mirror. The shower has glass doors, but I still like to hang a curtain to cover up the tub and shower; it just makes everything look tidier. Also, Amy and I got to see each other for dinner last night! Since she’s in Virginia and I’m in North Carolina, this only happens a few times a year (if we’re lucky). She and her family are on their way south for a week’s vacation, so we met for dinner right off the highway. It’s always SO GOOD to be together, even for just a few hours!
By the way, do you like my new (used) car? I’ve wanted a convertible for years; my first car was an old Corvette convertible and I’ve missed the wind in my hair. This little Beetle is so happy and fun to drive!
The kids enjoyed their reunion, too. They’ve grown up together and Amy and I realized last night that the boys are almost the age we were when we met each other in college!
Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks for stopping by ~
