We’re midway through a wonderful week of holiday home tours, and I hope you’ve been enjoying them as much as we have.
True confession: there’s a part of me that wants to tear all my decorations down and start from scratch when I see how everyone else is making their homes look like they belong in magazines, but then I take a deep breath and realize that there’s no need to compare because all these houses are unique and beautiful in their own way.
That’s one of the nicest things about decorating styles–there are so many of them!
So, now that I’ve overshared a bit, I’ll get back to editing my photos for my Friday home tour and share the six bloggers who are up today.
First, our dear friend Marty at A Stroll Thru Life always has a beautifully decorated traditional home. She’s been blogging even longer than we have and it’s been a pleasure to see her work her magic on several homes over the years:
Heather at Setting for Four is a fellow Army spouse and has done her share of making different houses work. The one they’re in now is an absolute stunner, though, and of course her amazing decorating style is showed off to perfection:
Jen at Stylehouse Interiors is always one of my favorites. Her kitchen is so lovely it will make you fall over dead (or maybe that’s just me) and you will love her living room, I promise!
We met Rachael of This is Our Bliss at the Haven conference a few years ago and knew from the start that she was going to be a success. She combines colors and patterns better than almost anyone else and she’s sharing her family room today:
We’ve known Amanda at Dixie Delights for years and her traditional Southern home is always a treat to tour because she’s always mixing things up just a bit to keep things fresh and interesting:
Last but certainly not least, we love Paige at The Pink Clutch Blog. She has been through quite a time in her “real life” these past few months and somehow has still managed to get her colorful and cheerful home ready to put its best foot forward for the holidays. We’ve virtually toasting you from afar, Paige–you’ve got this!
