Vintage Gold Mirror in the Foyer

Last week, I showed you the gorgeous mirror that my friend Nicole gave me for my birthday and asked for your opinion on where to hang it (you can read that post {here}).

As always, you guys have opinions–and lots of them–but that’s why I asked, right?!

I decided not to cover over the stained glass window in the living room:

And while I liked how it looked in the dining room, it seemed like the front entry was the right spot.

I feel like the gold really brings out the fall colors on the dresser right now.

By the way, those velvet pumpkins are on clearance at Michael’s for pennies.

I love the detailing on the mirror:

Thanks for your help in getting the new mirror in just the right spot.  I’ll show you where I put the one that lost its spot above this dresser–it’s in my daughter’s room now!
