Spring has sprung everywhere, and that includes in my laundry room, probably the most-used room in my house!
Whenever we move to a new house, I always try to make my laundry room pretty, because they’re often neglected, yet we use them so frequently. You can read all about how I decorated this laundry room (in military quarters) here.
I decided to add some spring color with a beautiful hydrangea and method laundry detergent. I’ve been using method cleaning products for years now, and love both their pretty colors and yummy scents. This fragrance (spring garden) is no exception, and the happy pink color certainly brings a shot of brightness to my laundry room:
The walls are painted with Sherwin-Williams Sea Salt, a blue grey color that works perfectly in our coastal Savannah home. But the pink brings a pop of cheer to the room.
I hate putting my laundry detergent away in the cabinets because I use it so frequently; isn’t it nice to have a pretty transparent bottle that I can leave out on the washer?

All of the vintage touches in my laundry room (like the enamelware, washboard, and old aqua mason jars) work well together with the grey and blue color scheme, and I think the pink is just the right touch of color to perk up the space.

Love the color in the laundry room…mine is a bit similar (SW Silvermist)….Your laundry room is so bright and cheery…and I am sure that the new one will be the same with you at the helm….love Method products…currently using their dish detergent…never knew about the handles with regard to recycling…interesting!
