So here is the “before” of the room–a plain, clean slate. This room is attached to our bedroom {it is above our Sun Room} and it’s SO in need of some attention I haven’t been motivated to actually ‘work’ in the space.
This was my office in our previous home. I quickly decorated it in a week in our former living room {and it was featured in a magazine–crazy!} but now most of the furniture is being used in other spaces in our new home. The only thing that is coming to the new space is the table and my desk chair.
So, I’ll be posting updates on the room progress on Thursdays for the next six weeks, obviously I have much to do!
Spoiler: See the finished space HERE!
Thanks for stopping by!

What a great space! Good bones. Cannot wait to see what you come up with.
Thanks Lauren, I have SO much to do. Hope you are doing well! Thanks for the encouragement 🙂 XOXO, Amy
Congrats on the magazine feature! I love your inspiration board – those curtains are fabulous and I love, love that lamp!

Thanks so much Shelia, Can’t wait to see what you do too!
Yay Amy! So glad you are joining! Cannot wait to follow along sweet friend
Likewise– I know your room will inspire me! XOXO
What a lovely office space this is going to be. I cannot wait to see your progress and how it all unfolds.
I too am participating in the One Room Challenge. My challenges? I just moved to a completely new state (Texas) last week and therefore have no idea where to source things other than Wal Mart and Home Depot. 🙂 I am currently battling strep throat and just want to lay around and eat soup as opposed to painting a 30 year old polyurethaned oak coffered ceiling that has never before seen paint. The accompanying powder room rivals the worst gas station stall ever. But a bonus is that the previous owners installed a wine glass and bottle holder on the ceiling of the bathroom. I kid you not. Come take a peek.
Laura, I am so sorry you are sick and hope you are much better by now! Oh my goodness it sounds like you have quite a project ahead of you–just think of the Before & After’s! And at least you have wine in the bathroom…Keep us posted on how that is going! XOXO, Amy
I love your plan and this is such a great space! I can’t wait to follow along and see how you transform it!
Thank you Summer! I appreciate the support–I have much to do 🙂 Have a great day!
