I have rounded up some classic Christmas inspiration for you all today as we all start thinking about the season ahead. I am feeling like this will be the year with more nostalgia and traditions, and much of my holiday decor will be reflecting that. With our time this year being spent mostly at home, I am less into the holiday glitz and glam and instead being drawn to cozy plaids and classic reds and greens.
I have been preparing to decorate our home and shopping for the new online holiday store (which will launch on November 15th!) so I today rounded up some of my favorite traditional finds.
I love just about everything at Tuckernuck and this plaid top is no exception, the classic black watch plaid and the ruffles! This will be the perfect top to pull out for Christmas dinner for many years to come. Don’t miss the bow in the back!
These fun mugs are just $5 from Target, I ordered the “Merry Everything” one to enjoy coffee during the holidays, but the plaid one is darling too.
Of course these are not just for holidays, but also in anticipation of the winter ahead, I am sharing these boots as they are a great deal at less than $100. The classic Sorel boots have been on my wish list for years.
This red coat! Sadly, red has never been my color but I might overlook that just to wear this…doesn’t it look like it just walked out of a Hallmark Christmas movie? So pretty.
Perfect for gift giving and for keeping you warm, this classic plaid scarf is less than $20 right now, it also comes in a blue and green black watch plaid too.
I had to include this red velvet bow as it is just everything Christmas, the perfect accessory!
We’ve been sharing this City coat non-stop because it has been a top seller, I have a hard time picking my favorite color but am drawn to this neutral ivory, for the holidays it would pair perfectly with a plaid scarf.
I love textured sweaters and this one caught my eye, while it is a bit of an investment, it is currently on sale with the code DRESSYISH.
Again, the sweater/coat we have shared before comes in this pretty pinkish red color. I’d pair this with black pants, a crisp white blouse and then add these fun shoes. These classic pieces work perfectly either for staying in or for a holiday dinner out.
I just ordered this puff sleeve top for holiday wear, it’s 50% off right now and comes in several colors (I had the hardest time choosing!) but I went with basic ivory so I could pair it with a vest or just wear on its own with black pants.
A few items for the home (you can see more holiday decor picks in this post HERE), I just ordered these classic plaid pillow covers and again, I love the tartan pattern.
I have picked up several rolls of plaid ribbon for wrapping and to adorn our Christmas tree. You can find a great selection HERE. (I also have a gorgeous plaid ribbon coming to the holiday decor store next week!)
I have been eying this style of chic, square wineglasses at Crate & Barrel for several years but then I found this set which is much less $$. Well worth it for holiday celebrations, even smallish ones!
Finally, I’ll leave you with these tartan masks, because well it is 2020 and where can you go without one? Might as well be in the spirit!
