It feels like FOREVER since we’ve done a Favorite Finds post, where we share the fun things we’ve seen online that are worth sharing. This is a strange time of year, if you are like me you are done with the summer clothes but it is still way too hot to think about fall. However, this time of year brings back to school. My kids start next week so we have been scouting out the things they need (or think they need!) for the last few weeks, so I thought I’d share a few things we’ve found for them. I am also including NON- BTS items below too if that isn’t your stage of life.
My daughter knows what she likes and she found this backpack online, it was so reasonably priced I let her get it. Her backpack from last year has plenty of life left in it but it was a little small for the amount of work she brings home. This one is a good size for an older child.
There is a ton of Nike on sale HERE. This is always at the top of my kids’ list for school shoes and athletic clothes.
I actually ordered these blue light blocking glasses for myself but they would be good for anyone, especially kids who spend a lot of time on their screens/computers. A similar Day Designer (the planner I use) is available HERE.
For those of you with teenagers, or facing the dreaded college departure (I have one year left, sniff sniff) over the next few weeks, Christy highly recommended this book. I plan to wear it out this next year preparing to launch my oldest out into the world.
Here are some of our other favorites from this summer. Amazon Fashion keeps getting better and better, not everything is always top quality, so I have two tops to share today both of which I highly recommend if you need something new to tide you over until Fall. This striped top came much faster than the reported shipping date (about a week) and it’s really cute, the quality is fine and there are a ton of colors available.
Striped Top | White Jeans ($15) | Shoes | Earrings
I love this outfit below because you can wear it so many places. The ruffle top is listed as ‘chiffon’ but it’s not quite that dressy, the fabric has a bit of a knit to it. It’s great for work, date night, lunch out or an event. I think it’s a really cute style and would even work under a cardigan for fall. A few other items worth mentioning below–the jeans are on sale for $15 today, the earrings are only $7.99 (with code EXTRASALE, sign up for rewards for free shipping) and the shoes are just over $52.
Ruffle Neck Blouse | White Jeans | Similar Purse | Shoes (on sale!) | Earrings
When we were together in Richmond, I wore this tie hem shirt the second day and Christy said “I have that too!” (which is so not unusual), it’s only $15 on sale. I have the pale blue but it comes in other pretty colors too.
I have been getting a ton of use out of this lightweight cardigan this summer, it is perfect for chilly indoor spaces as it is lightweight enough for summer. It is still on sale and comes in plenty of color options, size down if you are between I feel like it runs large. I have the beige and it will transition to fall perfectly.
For the time being, I often wear it with a camisole under it to dress it up, they have a ton of options and many are on sale.
We hope you all have a great weekend! I’ll be back on Sunday with our new newsletter full of additional finds and information so be sure to subscribe below if you haven’t already.
