Festive Holiday Dressing {Part 2}

Today it is my turn to share some favorite affordable outfits for this holiday season with you. Again we’ve partnered with Walmart to show you easy ways to mix and match to create festive outfits for all your holiday events, all at great price points. Walmart has all the stylish fashion you need for your holiday gatherings this year, and at affordable price points.

I selected outfits that ranged from cozy to casual to dressy, and many of the items work together in different ways so you can mix and match to fit your needs. I had so much fun coming up with these outfits and while it’s always a little awkward to share fashion, hopefully this will help you all answer the “what am I going to wear?” question no matter what the event! I included links to each item and tried to include sizing info to help too. I also included a men’s look and my daughter’s favorites so there is something for everyone in the family.

For events ranging from holiday parties, concerts or even business events, you can’t go wrong with classic black and white in my opinion. This outfit is also super comfortable too. These Sofia Vergara flared jeans are so easy to wear! They are perfect for a holiday with a silver thread detail and a trendy flared leg, but also these pull on like a legging and the fabric is super soft. I am wearing a size 4. (Christy also shared these pants, so we agree they are good!). I paired them with this pretty peplum sweater in white. It has blouson sleeves and a pointelle detail along the bottom so it can be dressed up or down. I like the way the top flows over the more fitting pants, very flattering for all. I am wearing an XS in the sweater and a four in the pants.

To go along with this outfit, I added these mid-heel boots (that go with just about everything) and a double-chain gold and pearl necklace and link bracelet set just for a little more holiday sparkle. Shop it all below.

I also wanted to show you how pretty this sweater can be in a more casual look, so I paired it with these awesome flared jeans. True story: my teenage daughter stole these jeans as soon as they arrived and she is wearing them constantly.

The denim is super soft too and this flared leg look is very in style! I added in a pair of these low western style boots (also now in my daughter’s closet), these are super comfortable! The jeans are a size zero (I bought my daughter’s size knowing she’d wear them more), but they do have some stretch.

Here is another outfit for your dressier events, these faux-leather pants are very much the look right now. At this price point they are the perfect fun, holiday party wear. I paired them with this very soft, pearl button detail-sleeved sweater. I like the mix of classic, elegant with the fun of the leather pants. I added the same high-heeled boots which work perfectly with the wider leg of the pants. I am wearing a small in the sweater (could probably go smaller) and a size 4 in the pants, they were right on.

I feel like if you buy one item to wear for the holidays, the faux-leather pants should be it?! They are at a great price point and they are very in style right now!

I know that the holidays aren’t all going out and dressing up, it’s also all about that cozy time relaxing at home so I made sure to include an outfit for that.

I paired these super-soft sweater lounge pants with this BCBG gift set that includes the softest sweater and a matching beanie cap. It was so comfortable to wear this around and I felt cute too! The knit pants are a nice upgrade to sweatpants, but just as comfortable, I am wearing a small.

I also wanted to include an outfit idea for the men in your life, as my husband’s very own personal shopper I had to upgrade his holiday wardrobe a bit too. Here’s what I picked out for him to wear, the boots are a great price point and so are the flannels (a perfect gift!).

I also asked my teenage daughter to pick out her favorite items, here is what she came up with. The flared jeans I mentioned, we both love them, along with her choice of a flannel skirt, chunky boots and the softest sweater. As a mom I was really happy with the price point of everything she selected too.
