Happy Friday! I hope you have had a great week. Today we’re back with our monthly favorite fashion finds from Amazon. It seems they keep up’ing their game as far as nice quality, affordable fashion. Now that the weather feels like fall, it is the perfect time to show you the sweaters (and sweatshirts) I ordered for the season. They had some really great items, everything I ordered was worth sharing.
Sweater | Leggings | Similar Boots | V-neck Tee | Phone Case
This beige sweater was by FAR my favorite thing I have to share (though I may say that at another point so don’t hold me to it). I have worn it pretty much every day since it arrived. It’s reasonably priced at under $30 and it is made of a nice quality, super soft yarn. It’s not too hot and it’s kind of perfectly slouchy so it just feels comfortable. You can see it casual above or a more dressed up look below. FYI–the color I ordered was “light pink” and it is actually very beige. I don’t mind but just so you know.
Sweater | Jeans | Boots (Steal!) | Belt | Camisole | Necklace
This next sweater is just $20 and I now have it in two colors. It is also made of a soft cotton yarn with a very fine knit. I thought the black and white stripe was different and I like that you can also pair it with jeans or a denim shirt for an everyday look. Random aside: the only time I had to photograph these outfits was during the one dark, rainy morning this week, so I took the photos in my daughter’s room since she has the most natural light, you can see her recent room makeover HERE.
Sweater | Jeans | Shoes | Denim Shirt | Necklace | Phone Case
poncho | jeans | boots | necklace
I wanted to include this inexpensive knit poncho because these are so easy to wear and I think they look good on all shapes, sizes, ages etc. They are great in this in between weather to throw on over a lighter top. I liked this black one quite a bit, it’s a good basic.
Sweater | | Booties | Belt | Scarf
I also already own this sweater in the Oatmeal Heather color. I bought it last spring and it’s holding up great. I seem to be starting a collection, but these are such great basics. There are tons of colors, solids and of course the fun stripes.
Here is another shot of the same sweater but with this super soft scarf, it is less than $10 (what?) and seriously feels like it’s made of cashmere. These make great gifts too, but also you should buy one for yourself! I am (spoiler alert) ordering them for my Favorite Things gifts.
The other two items I have to show you are more casual and both of these are contenders for ‘favorite’ status. I really wanted this pullover hoodie in the white and black stripe, but it is SO popular it was sold out. I ordered the black with white stripe you see on so I could show it and validate the quality and I fully approve. I’ll probably switch this out for the one I originally wanted if it comes back in stock (it has once already). It is made of a nice terry fabric (warm but not too warm) and it has plenty of length in the back so it’s perfect with leggings. Here, I even showed you the ‘coverage’, now you know! This will be on repeat for my sideline attire all fall.
So I don’t forget to mention it, these are my Zella Live-In Leggings because as I have said many times, I do -literally- live in them. However, last spring I did a side by side comparison with the Amazon leggings and they were definitely a contender and a better price than the Zella. The Amazon ones are now only $18 vs. $25 so worth getting a backup pair!
This sweatshirt really didn’t photograph that well but I LOVE it. This has been sitting in my cart since August when it seemed too hot to buy it but I knew I was going to want it. I love the oversized fit, and it looks like you are making somewhat of an effort unlike say, your typical sweatshirt. It is also nice and long, so again coverage! I need warm things to wear watching lacrosse (a constant around here) and I really love this one. My new Saturday uniform!
Here is it is a little closer up. It’s definitely my favorite for running around. Also, these shoes are just $50 and super lightweight and comfortable.
Sweatshirt | Leggings | Shoes | Doormat (just $10!) | Plaid Mat
A few other things I have on order but haven’t come in. This striped top, so cute on its own but also would be great under a cardigan. I have (too) many gray cardigans so this paired with jeans would be perfectly cute.
I also just saw this fuzzy coat, I bought one during the NSale that was similar but more expensive, I wore it today for the first time in the chilly morning school drop off, so nice. This version is a much better price. The gray is also pretty, it looks so cozy!
Can we talk about this coat? I am adding it to my shopping list so I can report back on it, it looks like it would perfect for dressy winter events.
I think that’s a wrap! Happy fall shopping 🙂
