I thought today would be a great day to share some fun and easy summer outfits, the weather is warm in most areas and things are slowly starting to open back up in many places.

I dress pretty casually most of the time so I am not in any rush to get all dolled up just to go into an actual store. I kind of like being comfortable, and this time at home as lended itself nicely to that. However, we again may have occasions that call for more than a t shirt and jeans, so I have picked up a few new things for summer that I wanted to share. Sales are still strong as retailers try to recover from all the in-person retail they lost during the quarantine.
I have noticed more and more people sharing and wearing dresses these last few months, I think that even though we had to be home, people craved a more feminine style. A bohemian style skirt like this can be worn pretty much anywhere and will still be cool on the hottest day. I just wear it with this casual Loft tee, which is just $12 today.

If you aren’t a skirt person then here is another idea. These lightweight wide-legged pants also bridge the gap between polished and casual depending on how you style them. This tee shirt has a great cut and is a lightweight fabric perfect for hot days, but you may want to pair it with a camisole under it for more coverage.

I don’t often duplicate wardrobe items unless something is truly my very favorite thing and this outfit above is the perfect example. While it may seem silly to buy a sweater in the summer this is the perfect lightweight cardigan. It is so soft, it is perfect when the AC is set a little higher than you prefer or for sitting in a cold waiting room. I want it in gray too I have worn the oatmeal to pieces these last few weeks. The gray tee is the same $12 tee as above, I bought both colors and pretty much wear one every day. These jeans are the most comfortable and cute things ever, I love the wider leg and the higher waist, you can bet if they aren’t in the wash I am wearing them.
Same sweater with different pants, but here is another one of my regular outfits these days. These linen joggers are so lightweight you can live in them. For a bit of a dressier look I pair them with a camisole top and these comfortable $19 sandals. This is a great running around town outfit, but it works just as well sitting on the porch with a cold drink outfit too.

This outfit below falls into the “leaving the house” category, I will wear something like this out with my husband to celebrate our anniversary (somehow) this weekend. These cute wide leg pants with a fitted top is a great combo. If you prefer less fitted you could go with a top like this. A statement necklace is an easy way to dress up a casual outfit.

It is no secret that Christy and I are partial to Tory Burch for accessories like shoes and bags, but her stuff comes at a price. Here are some really good deals on TB items if you have been waiting to invest. These blush pink sandals are a steal!
I can’t believe the price on this summer tote, it’s a classic style and the white is great for any occasion at this time of year. If I hadn’t gotten a brand new purse for my birthday this spring I’d have to have this!
I think these may be the cutest flip flops ever, and the quality of the TB ones can’t be beat. They are on the high side for flip flops even on sale, but I have thrown away countless pairs of cheap plastic shoes and year after year go back to these. They are not only comfortable but hold up amazingly well.
