Everything is still a little strange right now, so I am sure the 4th of July holiday will have a bit of a different flavor this year. Today I thought I’d share some celebration ideas even if you are celebrating in a smaller way than usual.

We will likely be having a quieter than usual celebration this year, like most people we’re still trying to social distance to be safe. We’ll probably see some neighbors (I am especially grateful for living on a street full of great people right now!) and just enjoy with a relaxing BBQ with our family.

I shared the Outdoor Entertaining Bar project I did recently for our new deck, it is perfect for a holiday set up. I dug out my 4th of July decorations and used some inexpensive decor to make it feel festive out here. I still need to work on the front porch, last year one of our brand new buntings blew away the first night I put it up, hopefully I’ll have better luck this year!

For your 4th of July BBQing ideas here are some of our favorite recipes…

I also highly recommend you serve our Fourth of July cocktail recipe, it’s always a favorite!

However you celebrate, I hope you have a great day. During these times I think it is more important than ever to stop and enjoy the time we have together, to appreciate our freedom and those that fight to preserve it and be thankful for all that we have.

Love the coke box- where did you find that?
Festive!
Hi, to follow up on my email (I hope you found some). The best source is either ETSY or eBay. I found mine on ETSY, I have a few linked in the sources of the post that are available at least as of right now. Thanks!
Best,
