It’s been a few months since we shared a budget design plan, and as I start the process of dismantling our house for our next move, I thought I’d share some of the sources I used for my own master bedroom.
Right now my room features a very neutral palette of grays and pale pinks; after all, the bedroom is supposed to be a room for relaxing! Half of my furniture is in storage in Kansas and will be back (along with my husband) later this summer. In our current house, my bedroom is very simple, and honestly I’ve enjoyed having it that way.
You can easily create a similar look for under $1000, assuming you already have a few key pieces like the mattress. By the way, if you need a mattress, I absolutely love ours and you can read a review of it (and see more pictures of my bedroom) HERE.
Here are my bedroom sources:
You can also find a vintage style iron bedframe for around $200 HERE. A similar gold table is available here.
My bedding is sold out but a similar version is here.
Another pricier though beautiful option is here.
More info on the lamps on the wall can be found in this post.
An affordable gray velvet X-leg bench can be found here.
You can find a similar affordable chandelier here.
Not surprisingly, Amy’s bedroom has a similar style and feel, even though her pieces are more high end and mine have more of a vintage vibe. Our taste continues to be pretty much the same!
You can see more of her room and sources HERE and see the rest of our budget design series HERE. A beautiful room doesn’t have to cost a fortune!
Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks for stopping by.

The bedroom is beautiful. Do you mind sharing a link for the bedskirt? I’ve been looking for one that is long enough to reach the floor.

My pleasure! This one is from Amazon so it’s pretty reasonably priced; the exact link is{HERE}. I have the same one in my room and my daughter’s room so obviously I liked it enough to buy it twice!
Hope that helps-
Christy

I know–it’s timeless! I think we’ve had it for seven years now and I still love it!
