Hello everyone! I’m Sarah from Life on Virginia Street and I’m so excited that Amy and Christy invited me over today! We had the chance to meet at Haven in July and I love these beautiful ladies even more than before now that I’ve talked to them in person. I am honored to be part of their Holiday Open House series again!
This year in our holiday decor, I didn’t go with a color scheme, so much as a plaid theme. Welcome to our home!
For the first year ever, I went with fresh garland in our entryway and I just can’t get enough of it!
In my office, I went with traditional reds for the first time and love how festive the space feels!
Our entryway hallway can be a bit tough to decorate at times, so I simply added some Christmas-y pillows to the bench, wreaths to the sliding doors and some fresh garland on the console table. It helped to brighten up an otherwise neutral space.
In our living room, I went with a more subdued palette and I’m loving the addition of the Christmas tree in this space, as well as the wreaths I hung from each of the windows.
In our dining room, I used some striped fabric as a table runner and added a portion of my bottle collection to the table for a fun centerpiece.
Our guest bedroom is one of my favorite spaces this year. The bold red and plaid add a fun festive touch to the space!
Our master bedroom remained fairly the same, with the exception of the boxwood wreath I hung over our bed. This simple addition instantly makes our room feel more festive!
Even our unfinished mudroom got in on the Christmas fun this year!
