This season is so hectic, sometimes finding time to pick up all that perfect new holiday decor just doesn’t fit in the schedule. Not to mention, sometimes the big box store decor seems to be well, everywhere, but who has time to scout around to find those perfectly unique items? Last year I wrote this post here on where you can find great holiday decor online {like from your couch in your pajamas 🙂 } so I thought I’d update it with some sources and ideas for this year.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a tree, and of course flocked trees have become THE holiday decorating trend. I purchased one two years ago and admit I haven’t really been tempted to get a live tree since. I did look at just about every tree out there before I purchased mine so I can in good faith recommend the one I bought and it is available here. It was the best price I found and the quality of the tree is very good, and bonus– it comes with free shipping! It does shed some flocking (especially while you set it up) but outside of that I have no complaints and I think it looks much more expensive than it was.
If you are looking for a tree on a budget I know quite a few people that have this little tree. You can’t beat the price! I have been tempted to get one for my daughter’s room to replace her little table top tree. At this price, why not? I hear these sell out so if you want one, snatch one up! I have a post coming up about how you can jazz up a fake tree, so if you get this one I’ll have some ideas to make it look much more expensive soon.
While you are there, I also love these pretty gold lanterns. Seriously? I couldn’t believe where they came from!

I know this isn’t typically the place you think of for unique holiday decor ideas, but they have so many sellers now you can find all sorts of things, of course taking advantage of free shipping with Prime membership. Last week at the Lucketts Vintage Holiday Market I sadly saw many items with “made in China” stickers on them mixed in with the vintage things in some tents. This year I wanted some outdoor lanterns for our porch, but I decided to go with these that are available HERE since they were about a third of what the vendors were charging at the Open House. I also like this tall one. I plan to fill them with ornaments and greenery and battery operated candles and place them on our front porch this year.
ETSY
I have been scouring ETSY (the handmade marketplace) looking for a holiday sign for our kitchen, they have so many to choose from and I love the idea that it would be made by someone and not in a factory. Unfortunately, even if the sign is reasonably priced, the shipping can be very expensive. These printed signs are a great alternative, and then you can just order a frame HERE. I also often order ribbon from ETSY, especially when I just need a pretty piece to hang a wreath or wrap a few napkins and I don’t need a whole roll. You can find a huge selection HERE.

Also, for just tons of holiday inspiration, look at the holiday wreath selection on ETSY! They have so many gorgeous ones to choose from and most are handmade. I love that you are supporting small businesses when you shop here, it’s one of my favorite sites and I always find beautiful things.
ANTIQUE FARMHOUSE
Our regular readers know we love Antique Farm House. I always like seeing what they offer when I get their daily emails and their offerings are always changing. Since they are a flash sale site, you have to purchase within a few days of the item coming online but they have unique and on-trend decor items, which makes shopping easy.
And of course we love Jane.com for fun fashion and great gifts but they also have home decor for great prices. You can browse through their entire home decor selection here and as it gets closer to the holidays I am sure they will have an even larger selection of holiday items. Do remember these deals are also time sensitive too so don’t wait to order if you see something you like!
NORDSTROM
Nordstrom is our go-to for fashion and gifts, but they also have a beautiful home department and of course, the always free shipping and returns. They have some lovely items that will last years, like this pretty pine garland that in itself, with just some candles, would be all you need to adorn a mantel.
This MERRY pillow has been in my shopping cart, it’s traditional plaid would go perfectly with any holiday decor.
Here is another cute sign, and with the free shipping! You can see all the items they have as well as great gift items HERE.
Of course, catalog/retailers like Pottery Barn and West Elm have beautiful decorations, I usually pick up one or two classic items from them each season. You can see my favorite picks below:

Love all of the sources, esprecially the lanterns on AMazon. For the front porch do you think you would need 3 lanterns to make a statement ? or do you think I can get away with two?
Amy says
It’s always hard to know isn’t it? They say three is the best visually, but if you do two larger ones on either side of your door I think that would also work!

Amy
