Summer Favorites

I wanted to share some summer favorite things today. These are the things I am chatting about poolside these days, so I thought why not share here as well? Feel free to leave your summer favorites in the comments, I would love to hear them.

OK, this first one is kind of funny. Christy has mentioned before she and I have uncannily similar taste though we live hundreds of miles apart. In fact, I recently saw a picture of her on Facebook wearing a shirt I had literally just put in a shopping cart online. It happens constantly! In her post this week she mentioned wanting a monogrammed bathing suit {by the way, they are available again from Jane.com--but hurry as they are almost gone!}. I laughed out loud when I read her post as I had just ordered a monogrammed one for myself. A monogrammed bandeau bathing suit top, how cute is that?

There is no way to seque from bathing suits to scripture art but I am going to just jump right to it anyway, because this one is good. I discovered the blog Gracelaced recently and am smitten with this blog and these beautiful prints. This talented mama of 6 boys {yes, SIX, bless her!} creates the most gorgeous and meaningful artwork. I already have the spot picked out for this one in my kitchen. She is an inspiring read as well, so be sure to check out her blog too.

Now from Scripture Prints to Princesses…are you still with me? Do you follow the blog What Kate Wore? If not, you should add it to your summer reading just because it’s so fun. Oh to have Kate’s wardrobe for just a day, right? Since I can’t borrow from her closet, this blog is a fun way to vicariously live the Princess life.

OK, randomly moving on now from Kate to organization…I went to order this Whitney English Day Planner when it was released yesterday and it was already sold out, darn it. {the Facebook page says they will get another shipment mid-July} Seriously, isn’t this a darling way to stay organized?

And it comes in black, but that is sold out too. I suppose I have a few weeks now to decide which color I need more.

Finally, I am pretty sure I am going to eat my weight in this gelato this summer. Anyone else as completely hooked on it as I am? I am truly sorry to put it out there to tempt you but it is that good. I recently discovered it at a warehouse store in a large size, Oh my stars…
