Today I am in the mood to share spring things–because I am always happily anticipating the return of warm weather, gardening season and time spent outside enjoying sunshine. Spring doesn’t fully kick in here in Virginia until late April or even May, but by then it is beautiful.
I already shared my Spring Home Tour, and while I don’t do as much seasonal and themed decor as I used to, this year I just kept some pops of green, I do enjoy feeling that the house is lighter and brighter at this time of year.
I took a look back in our archives of posts and thought I’d share some images with spring colors in them. It’s always fun to look back a bit on the different color combinations we’ve used or shared throughout the years.
The first theme that immediately stood out is that many of our spring images include pops of blue. Be it light blue or deep blue, it’s the perfect bright color for spring.
Pops of yellow are a fresh spin on spring decor, be it paired with blue or on its own. Christy used lemons in her spring home tour a few years back and it was so cute.
Pink is another spring favorite, used sparingly it brightens a room without making it too feminine.
Finally, I have been drawn to greens over the last few years. Especially a mossy, green–not too dark or too light. I used it throughout our home this year, I even transitioned it from our Christmas decor, it was very low effort on my part!
To see more about any of these colors, you can see our spring home tour posts at this link here. Feel free to leave a comment if you would like a source on an item!
I hope you are all having a wonderful week!

These color schemes are to die for! Perfect for Spring! I am wanting to get my cabinet painting for my kitchen remodel done soon. I want a springy color. I feel like they work all year long, but especially right now. It makes me happy. Thanks for the inspiration!
