We’ve had some beautiful weather here in North Carolina and hopefully it will hold though the weekend. We’re actually not hosting anyone for Easter dinner as of now, but that is subject to change at the last minute.
The camellias and azaleas are blooming, and so is the pollen!

They are gorgeous:

I put my great-grandmother’s pale pink Depression glass plates on top of them, but they’re so pale you can barely even see them.

The eggs are from our neighbor’s backyard chickens…they are delicious and we are spoiled!
The place cards are a free printable, and you can download them from this post.

My mom’s Ethan Allen secretary is in the dining room, too.

My sheepskin rug washed up beautifully after poor Sunny died. I’m not sure if you remember, but he took it over after Christmas and I couldn’t bear to take it away from him. Since he only had a few months left, I’m glad I shared. 🙁

Last, but not least, I feel like my office is always sporting spring colors with the bright pink table I painted a few weeks ago (see more here). By the way, I came in second place in the Rust-Oleum contest I entered it in, but I’m kind of glad because if I had won, I would have had to give my pink table away! There’s always a silver lining, right?
Thanks for stopping by-

What a find those Limoges plates were! Love them, and the depression glass ones! I don’t think I will ever get over our last move…items were stolen, etc. Love your decor!
Happy Easter!

I know–and nice finds like that make up for some of the damage from the move. I’m so sorry to hear that yours was awful, too. It’s just a shame!

Everything looks beautiful and very spring like! I love the snapdragons and the Stargazers ~ one of my favorites. The fragrance is so wonderful! You really hit the jackpot with the plates. I’m so sorry the ceramic egg from your Mom was broken! Such a horrendous move and hopefully you won’t have another move soon. I always feel like blue and white are such warm weather colors….reminds me of a beach! Just feels cooler to me too in these brutal Texas summers.
Wishing you and yours a very blessed and Happy Easter!

Love your Easter decor. I have been so busy that my Easter decorating consisted of setting and decorating the table just last night and decorating the front door with a bunny hat wreath. The table looks great and I don;t think my guests will notice that I scaled things down this year. I love your bunny topiary!

Here’s your free pass, Lisa. 🙂 Some holidays are just like that, and the people are always more important than the decorations. I’m sure your guests were enveloped by hospitality today.
Happy Easter!
