I hope everyone is having a nice weekend, we’ve been busy with the usual weekend things–soccer, friends and the like. Hopefully today will be quieter, I just have to wrap up some teacher appreciation things heading into this week.
Here are some things that caught our eye this week…
I must first mention the new baby Princess of Cambridge. I have shared with you all before the fun read that is What Kate Wore {add that to your blog reader if you don’t already follow it!}. My Mom and I have followed the British Royal Family with curious interest since I was young. I remember seeing Charles & Diana when they came to Washington DC way back when, my Mom must have stopped the car somewhere near the British Embassy knowing they would be pulling out to attend an event. They drove by in their Rolls Royce and Diana waved right to me, she really was beautiful. I find the idea that William and Kate had a baby girl to just be a sweet part of their fairytale, though I am still wondering she can look so stunning just a few hours after giving birth!
In other news, are you following all the One Room Challenge participants? I can’t wait to see all the reveals later this week. I made my office over last Fall thinking “Oh how fun” and jumping in with both feet, so I know that at this point many participants are wondering if they will be done in time and what the heck they were thinking trying to do it in the first place! So much work and effort goes into these makeovers in what is really a very short amount of time. I am completely impressed by Mallory’s beautiful guest room makeover {see HERE} I can’t wait to see it and all the other reveals later this week.
This week I downloaded this desktop wallpaper from Craftberry Bush HERE {and it’s free} my computer is so much more spring-like now. Isn’t it so pretty?
I have shared my love for the Gracelaced shop and blog previously, but if you are looking for a Mother’s Day gift, she is offering free upgraded shipping today only so you {or your Mom} can receive a gift such as the print below in time.
I am off to Church then to scout out gifts for our wonderful teachers, but here is a final thought to inspire your week!
Enjoy your Sunday friends!
