We’re having a quieter weekend than most; my husband has had to work and I am getting ready for several events coming up in the next few weeks. Sometimes I think that the weeks leading up to the end of the school year are even busier than around Christmas–am I the only one?
I’ve just finished a little painting in my bathroom, which I’ll show you this week, but today I just wanted to pop in with a few things that I love.
First, Tocca perfume in Florence, which smells wonderful and looks beautiful. I buy mine at the Paris Market on Broughton St. here in Savannah, but you can order it online:

Our big volunteer appreciation event is next week, so I’ve made 60+ of these gold-rimmed jewelry bowls and all the table decorations. Teacher appreciation week is coming up, too, so be sure to grab our free printables {here}.

My son saved his money all last year and bought the parts to build a computer around Christmas…and I finally found a desk that looks good in his room for the computer to sit on. This X-leg campaign desk from Target is currently on sale. It’s normally priced at $149.99, but I bought mine for about $116 (that’s with tax and free shipping). It was a snap to put together, too–I just handed it off to my uncle who was visiting and it was done in ten minutes. 🙂

Last but not least, this is one of my favorite Savannah cookbooks because it features so many of the restaurants we’ve eaten at over the past two years. A friend used it as a welcome gift for a new spouse not too long ago (we each signed a page instead of a guest book) and I thought that was a great way to welcome someone to the Hospitality City.

I’m off to church and hopefully a day of rest after (or at least, a few hours’ of rest after–the whole day usually never happens!). Have a wonderful Sunday, and thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful features, Christy! I wish I were a volunteer at the school ~ 🙂 They will love the packaging as much as the bowl! The perfume sounds lovely and I collect cookbooks. I can read them like a novel. Great idea to welcome someone to Savannah.
Have a wonderful week!
