Hi everyone!
I am finally getting a chance to sit down today and put together a whole bunch of stuff into one random post {which I’ll consider to be a “Simply on Sunday” post since today is Sunday!} …First, since everyone else is talking about nothing else around here, we are {maybe?} getting a big snowstorm on Tuesday…in March… in Virginia. Not that snow this late is that unusual here–last year we had snow in April and it was wretched–but after a winter with 70 degree days and barely a sprinkle of snow this is cause for great excitement– apparently. I had to grab some groceries after church and couldn’t even get a spot in the parking lot! We’ll see if it’s a big bust or if we’ll finally get a taste of winter here.
Now that we’ve covered that…
That pretty much sums my relationship with winter! So, to take my mind off it I’ll start with rounding up the spring things that I’ve turned my attention to this week to help me cope.
I would say that Old Navy is killing it with spring clothes right now, and they are all on sale. I scooped up a new pair of pink jeans {because, well pink} and this top and this top to wear with them this Spring. Some of my favorite picks from their spring collection are below–AND everything is 40% off this weekend {use code SPRING}–this bag is just over $20, it’s calling my name :).
I also ordered some activewear from ON–has anyone tried their line before? I am such a huge fan of the Zella line I rarely go elsewhere, but at these prices I thought I’d grab another outfit to motivate me in my health quest this spring. Let me know if you’ve tried their active wear in the comments!?!
While we are on the topic of great sales–World Market is having their friends and family sale this weekend, which is 30% off everything and free shipping. That means my hallway table is at it’s lowest price I have seen {$229 shipped}. You see this table getting dolled up all over Instagram for good reason, its narrow profile makes it easy to tuck into a space like a hallway and its rustic, light finish makes it blend in with any decor. Christy’s kitchen barstools are from World Market {similar ones are on sale}, they are linked in the widget below.
OK, moving on from shopping talk…this week I started reading this book below. I am only a few pages in but it’s been hard to put down. I find myself being like “yes”! It came highly recommended and is resonating with me, the older I get I find the harder it is to make deep female friendships. Lysa’s perspective is always spot on.
Finally, to end on an upbeat note {and about friendship!}, I am partially including this to make Christy smile, as I think she knows every line in this movie by heart, and I probably do too 🙂 If you’ve seen this classic movie this list will make you happy!

That is all friends, have a wonderful Sunday!
XO,

So I love the pink old navy pants on post however can u clear up some confusion From the pic they look like the harpers not the midrise rockstar that you link to. So which ones did u end up getting? Harpers seem a little dressier
HI Rose–Sorry, that is a good question. I got the jeans. I have not tried the Harper’s and yes, they are dressier and look a little more cropped to me. Probably better for “work wear”? I hope that helps! XO, Amy
It’s so fun to browse around world market and see all their unique items! 🙂
