Happy Sunday, friends!
Today, I want to share a few of our favorite ideas for friends who are going through tough times. Whether you’re sharing food, or encouragement, these are all great ways to take care of others.
First, if you’re dropping off a meal, Amy created these great printable labels that work perfectly to communicate ingredient or heating/serving instructions:

She also shares links to some of our favorite “take them a meal” recipes. We don’t always drop off meals when someone’s sick–sometimes it’s for something fun, like a new baby or adoption. Those are my favorites!
| Cancer & Chemo Care Package Ideas |
Even though it has absolutely nothing to do with home decor, {this} post I wrote on cancer/chemo care package ideas is one of our most popular ever. Back in the day, I was an oncology and hospice nurse, and these are some of the best ideas from my own personal experience. Plus, we asked our readers to share theirs as well. The result is a very comprehensive and helpful list. If you have any suggestions, be sure to leave them in the comments at the end of the post!
A pretty framed Bible verse is always a great way to encourage someone; we’ve got several free scripture printables for just this purpose. Just visit the {printables} section of our blog to see all of them.
Amy also has a few printable downloads available for purchase in our Etsy shop.

Enjoy your Sunday, friends, and thanks for stopping by!

I love when you share ideas like this! The labels for food gifts are wonderful! I really like the tips offered for chemo patients. I think I told you that I’ve been a volunteer with Chemo Angels since I retired in 2003. It’s always good to have fresh ideas for assisting those going through treatment. I haven’t checked the current list so please forgive me if I’m repeating….I always send Ginger candy along with Ginger tea. Both are to help with nausea. Soft, cushy socks are good for treatment days as well as comfort at home.
Thanks so much for all the printables!
xoxo
