We spend (ideally) one third of our lives asleep, that is a pretty significant number! When I think about that, I don’t know why it took so long for me and my husband to get a new mattress to sleep on. It really should have been more of a priority. Now that we are sleeping on a Serta iComfort Hybrid I honestly don’t know why we waited so long!

We were strangely attached to our old mattress, which had definitely seen better days. We procrastinated buying a new one, going back and forth on what size we wanted, visiting showrooms, and looking online but for some reason never went ahead and replaced our aging mattress. When we made the move to this new house this summer, I knew that the time had come.
With the fresh start in our new home I wanted us to have something wonderful to sleep on, and not be waking up with my back aching or feeling tired from tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. I found during our search that there are so many mattresses to choose from, and everyone has opinions on them. Working with Sears makes it easy, they have a wide selection of mattresses to select from, we found what we consider the perfect mattress. It offers both support but it has a plush, pillowtop cover. To get a bit more technical, the Serta iComfort Hybrid mattress is made of wonderful materials like their EverCool ® (cooling) memory foam and TempActive ™ Balance Fabric. Even in the heat of summer, we have not felt too warm. All the components work together to simply make you feel deeply supported but it is still perfectly soft and cushiony.
Our mattress was delivered by two very professional gentlemen. In an age where everything comes in boxes with tiny parts and has to be lugged around, it was such a treat to have this all done and setup in minutes. They even offered to haul away our new mattress (which is a small fee), we declined since we are now using it in our son’s room.
We’ve been sleeping on our new Serta iComfort Hybrid mattress now for more than two weeks. Each night I go to bed and feel so lucky that we have this new mattress. I have been sleeping better and feel more rested than ever, even with our back to school 6 AM wake ups now that summer has ended.
