Good morning! We didn’t have a post scheduled for today but as I was enjoying my coffee this morning and scrolling through all the great deals Nordstrom launched today for their half-yearly sale I couldn’t resist quickly sharing my favorite finds with you all. My shopping cart is already full! Over the years I have moved most of my shopping to Nordstrom because of their free shipping and easy return policy, they just make it so easy. They truly do have all price points, I think the only drawback can be wading through their enormous selection so hopefully these finds will be helpful if you need some new things for summer!

Let’s start with this dress, I want this SO badly–I am just sure I can come up with somewhere fun to wear it! I need one of my friends to have a garden wedding, or maybe we could book a cruise? That last one sounds good! Isn’t it pretty? Less than $100 too. If this isn’t your style there are plenty more sale dresses HERE.

Next, I am sure these sunglasses are on sell out risk because they are close to half-price. Like I mentioned in this post about the quality of Tory Burch items, I have had my TB sunglasses for more than three years and they are going strong, and I can’t say that about any of my other cheaper shades.

The first thing I checked for on sale was the Zella discounts. By far this is my favorite work out {or ‘athleisure’ to wear around even if you aren’t working out} brand. It is reasonable priced and high-quality. I need to add a few more things this summer and they have some great basics discounted like this top, these leggings and this cute top {though I would probably show less skin than the model !? ) all on sale. Their leggings are my very favorite. More Zella on sale HERE.

I have this necklace in white and I wear it almost daily, it goes with everything… and it’s only $11 shipped! This would make a cute gift idea too.

I don’t have these cargo pants {yet!} but I have heard good things about them. Olive green is a great neutral {it pairs perfectly with white for summer} and these pants are a good option if you aren’t a shorts person {like me}.  Pair these with a white tee shirt {my very favorite is this one} and the necklace above and you are all set with a cute, casual summer outfit.

They have so many cute summer tops on sale, too many to list here. I picked a few of my favorites like this one above {also comes in black} and this navy peplum one below. This is one of our favorite brands, at a nice price.

This navy would be so cute with white jeans or shorts this summer, a cute 4th of July look!

This off the shoulder top {though I am sure you could wear it on the top of your shoulders for more coverage} comes in several pretty patterns. I thought this one was cute for summer, again perfect with white jeans or shorts.

This last striped one is just such a great basic to wear around all summer, and it comes in blue and white for less than $20.

Finally, these shoes…definitely a wish list item! Still a great deal and a pair you would get years of wear out of investing in because they are such a classic style.  They also have tons more sandals on sale HERE, just in time for summer.

Christy will be back tomorrow with more of her trip to Spain, in the meantime, have fun if you go shopping everyone!

  1. hi ladies …off topic here, but didn’t i see somewhere on the blog where instructions were posted for washing 1 of those beautiful 5×7 faux sheepskin rugs? the ones that er in home goods often ?

    • Hey, Diane–
Yes, I wash mine all the time, even though it says not to! Just normal machine wash (warm or cold water) and a quick fluff in the dryer. If you hang it to dry, then the fur will look matted, but low heat works best. Mine looks brand new after I wash it. Hope that helps! Christy
