I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We’re having a wonderful time this week, hosting friends from Virginia Beach and in general NOT doing anything but having fun. But, next week is going to be the week when I take Christmas down and start organizing (sound familiar?) and getting the house back in order.
As you know, we are HomeRight brand ambassadors and we use our HomeRight products here all. the time. so this seemed like the perfect time to show you all the amazing things we’ve done with our HomeRight products over the past year and a half. And if you have gift cards to spend, then you should definitely consider adding a few of these HomeRight products to your DIY arsenal, because you will use them constantly–promise!
Remember this thrift store bench?
A few coats of glossy black paint with my FinishMax Pro paint sprayer, and new fabric on the seat, and it became a glamorous addition to my living room. Read the details {here}.
The bright colors match her vibrant personality. {Read more here}
I used the FinishMax to paint my bed with Amy last year:
And I love how it brightened the room {read more here}:
I also used the EZ Twist Paint Stick to paint my powder room and my son’s bedroom and the whole process went SO much faster than with a traditional roller and paint tray!
After a trip to Atlanta and the “Mother Ship” (aka IKEA), I used their Billy bookcases to transform the plain wall in my living room into fabulous “faux built-ins.” I sprayed the molding and the shelves with my FinishMax Pro, of course.
Here’s how they turned out–I love them! The “after” post is {here} and the tutorial post is {here}.
Last spring, I decided to try painting my outdoor cushions instead of tossing them and buying new ones (they’re expensive to replace!). I spray painted them with my Finish Max Pro and they went from this:
To this:
Not bad for a quart or two of paint and a few hours’ worth of work, right?! {Details are here if you want to know how I did it}
Just a few months ago, Amy decided to try spraying gloss white paint on a console that she snagged at a local auction.
It turned out great, and became the focal point of her newly made over home office. She works from home, so an organized and pretty workspace has made her job much more enjoyable, I know. {see how she painted the console here}
And last but not least, I have to show you the IKEA Tarva dresser that I took from unfinished pine to fabulous (in my opinion, at least!).
Here’s what I started with:
And after spraying it with primer, white paint, and clear coat (using my FinishMax Pro), and adding decorative gold Greek key trim, this is the after that wound up in my daughter’s room:
The tutorial is {here} and the rest of my daughter’s room is {here}.
The other HomeRight ambassadors that I work with have also turned out some amazing projects, too. You can check them all out over on the HomeRight website and blog {here}, and I promise that you will be inspired!
Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions about any of the projects or products mentioned above; I’d love to help!
