If you missed it, the inspiration board above is my plan for my Powder Room which is getting a much-needed refresh. I can’t show you too much this week; it’s a pretty small room so I need to save something for next week for the final reveal. I am in the final stretch of all the projects–the gorgeous new faucet is being installed later this week, and all the decorative items are going in the room in the next few days. I have to go shopping for a new towel bar, TP holder and some artwork and then it will pretty much be a wrap.
The superstar of this makeover is definitely the wallpaper from Tempaper Designs. It changes the look of the entire room, it’s all so much lighter and brighter now. I will say that it was more than a little tricky to precisely cut this paper to go around all the pipes for the sink and toilet. I would definitely recommend using this paper on walls with fewer intruding elements. It all worked out, and I am happy we’ll have a functional powder room again before the holidays!
So that is this week’s quick update…be sure to check back next week for the big reveal!
If you missed it my other ORC posts are here, here, here and here. You can see my office makeover reveal from last year here.

Hi there.. I really like the idea of the temporary wall paper. What color would you say it is? Is it taupe? Is it a greige? Are the flowers white or a shimmer? I am doing board and batten in my bath and think this would look really nice above it. Is there a discount offered if purchased from your advertisement/blog?

HI Michelle–the color is a beautiful pale gold…I’d call it champagne bronze. I love it. I believe the paper is available at Bed, Bath and Beyond as well as online–that would be your best bet! I hope it works out for you!
