OK, back to the subject at hand–the One Room Challenge — where I have decided to makeover my powder room in six weeks along with over a hundred other guest participants. You can see my first two posts here and here and my ‘inspiration’ board is above. This week I really made progress in the room, now that the kitchen is done I could focus on this next adventure. I got the room painted, the new blind hung and the wallpaper up {well, mostly}. It is starting to come together and already there is a huge difference in the way the room looks and feels.

I mentioned before that I was given some Tempaper Designs temporary wallpaper to try out. This week I got it up on the wall and it’s pretty awesome. It works the way contact paper would, but it’s made of a much nicer material, in the above picture you can see how it has a lovely metallic sheen. It goes on very easily and is simple to reposition if you don’t get it on right the first time. I am completely enamored with how it looks! {I am using this pattern here}.

Over the next week I’ll be starting the shelves, finding artwork and accessories and installing the new faucet. Be sure to check out all the other progress over at Calling It Home.

A quick aside before I go… I posted this picture of my Fall front porch over on Instagram but I thought I would share it here too. I found this darling doormat at Target, you can still grab one on sale and pick it up at a store, mine was less than $12, very “fall” festive! The pretty fall wreath is from HomeGoods, they have a great selection of door decor right now and the monogram is available HERE. It’s feeling like trick or treating weather for sure!
