Hi friends, I hope your week is going beautifully! Now that we are in a slower summer mode, this week I am alternating between working on landscaping in our backyard and finishing up the inside decorating projects I have had going now for the last several months. The weather has been gorgeous here this week so the outside yard work has been winning out! I did make some small progress in my daughter’s room this week and wanted to share a little about her new bedding.

I blogged here a few months ago about how I went down the rabbit hole of decorating when I switched all the beds around in my children’s rooms, which then started me redecorating my daughter’s room as she now has two twin beds.
This week we added her new bedding. I first mentioned the online store of Lavender Fields with you as a resource for wallpaper in this post, today I wanted to show off the bedding I got from them for her beds.
I knew I wanted something classic and white for her twin beds, something that would grow with her and we could change with the room since we tend to redecorate it, ahhh…. rather frequently? 🙂 I fell in love with the Taylor Linens Evelyn Matalesse at Lavender Fields. I selected these beautiful white coverlets that have the prettiest scalloped edges, they are just perfect for a girl’s room.

We still have to paint the beds and finish up some new art for her walls but the room is coming along, I’ll be back with more soon. It has a bit more of a classic look then it did previously, but it should grow up along with her nicely. She is just happy that her room is sleepover ready now with two beds–and matching bedspreads 🙂
