When my husband and I moved into our current home 6 years ago we tripled our square footage. We were really excited to finally have some “room to grow” but we had no budget to furnish all the extra space. Lucky for us, my mother-in-law is quite thrifty and always finds great deals. She graciously filled a trailer full of thrift store finds and helped us furnish most of the empty space.
Our kitchen table happens to be one of those thrifty finds. When it first arrived we were disappointed with the natural knotty pine finish, but after applying a few coats of glossy black paint, this former Gap display table was transformed into our new kitchen table. Six years later I still love the style and size, but I’ve grown tired of the color. I’ve been toying around with the idea or repainting the table with a chevron pattern but I fear that I will want something new in a few months. I needed a quick and easy alternative to painting, so with some help from my friends at LuLuKuKu Decals we came up with this awesome vinyl alternative.
Fast, easy, and inexpensive–what could be better?!
