Are you lucky enough to be heading to the beach for a vacation this summer? Even if you are just celebrating summer at home I have a perfect cocktail for you.
Last week Terry was throwing a ‘girls’ night out’ at her house and asked if we could create a cocktail for her to serve. We went with the summer/tropical/beach theme and these pretty sea blue martinis were a hit all around. We imposed on my husband Justin, our resident bartender who has created most of our popular cocktails, to mix up a batch and I carted them along in a pitcher to the party since it was a ‘no boys allowed’ type of night!
This is an easy recipe made with mixers you may already have one hand. This drink channels our other “martini” concoctions, I will repost the recipes for all them at the end of this post.

RECIPE:
Mix over ice in a cocktail shaker equal parts {or as always mix to taste based on your preference/tolerance!}
Citrus Vodka
Phantastic Poe’s Sour Mix {or any sour mix but definitely not SWEET & SOUR mix}
Simply Lemonade w/ Raspberry
—-
Then add a small amount {a few ounces} Blue Curacao for color –don’t add too much.
and the juice of 1 half a fresh lemon.
SHAKE VERY WELL.
Pour into a chilled {always!} martini glass, garnish with lemon and enjoy. We recommend chilling glasses in the freezer and hour or two before serving to make them ice cold.
I can just imagine enjoying one of these seaside, or poolside!
Here are some of our other favorite cocktails~
