How to Build a Wall Mounted Plate Rack
Now that the school year is ending, there’s a little more free time in my days to tackle some easy DIY projects around the house. Because we’ve been blogging forever (OK, about eight years) and have lived in so many different houses, we’ve got tons of project tutorials and how-to’s in our archives, and thought it would be a great idea to highlight some of them this summer. This do it yourself, wall mounted plate or platter rack is one of my favorite weekend projects. It took me just a couple of hours to build, I sized it exactly to fit my pantry, and the total cost was under $40.
Don’t have a pantry? I feel you–I don’t have one in our current home, either, but I have a couple of areas in both my kitchen and dining room where a plate rack would be beautiful AND functional, and it was such an easy project that I’m ready to pull out the power tools and get to work!
