I love it when we have the chance to write about a product that we already use and love–that is definitely the case today!  If you don’t already have Gorilla Super Glue Brush and Nozzle in your tool box or kitchen junk drawer, then do yourself a favor and put it on your shopping list.  I’ve also used their epoxy glue for years and absolutely refuse to buy any other brand.

Just why do I love it so much?  First off, it has a nozzle AND a brush in the same applicator, so you can choose which one works best for your project.  So when I decide that my boring white lampshade needs a gold Greek key ribbon to jazz things up, I use the brush:

Also, it doesn’t solidify in between uses because it’s thicker than other super glues.  That means the tube doesn’t get clogged and frustrate you when you need to pop the rhinestone back in your dancing shoes immediately.

Plus I’ve decided to be organized and repair things as they break this year instead of putting all the broken things in a pile to deal with later (we’ll see how long that lasts!).

Gorilla Super Glue is reinforced with rubber, so it’s going to absorb bangs, bumps, and drops–which is a good thing when you have two butterfingers teenagers in the house! Look closely at the cracks on the back of this sweet old platter and you can see where I glued it back together (it bit the dust one day while I was vacuuming).

Gorilla Super Glue dries in seconds and doesn’t require you to clamp the pieces you’re bonding–this is huge when you’re putting a bunch of broken puzzle pieces of ceramic back together.  It also means you’re less likely to glue your fingers together, which is always a good thing. 🙂

Last week, I even used it to perform an emergency repair on my daughter’s glasses.  I realized that we no longer had a free replacement guarantee on her frames, and of course her brand-new frames cracked when she got nailed by a soccer ball during recess.  Tell me if you can see the repair, because I sure can’t, and I figure I just saved myself at least $150 because I didn’t have to buy a replacement pair. Gorilla Glue (8 of 8) Gorilla Super Glue bonds plastic, wood, metal, ceramic, rubber, leather, paper and more.  Like I said, this is the one glue that you must have in your house (find it at hardware and home center stores nationwide).  I’ve even repaired a broken fingernail with it, but that’s a story for another day…

  1. Thanks for the info! I always love gorilla brand tapes and glues, this sounds like the glue of my dreams! Am running out to get some and fix all of those broken items I have been putting off!

  2. This may sound silly, but it’s true: I’ve given up on “super glues.” I always get ONE (only one) use out of a container and that’s it. But you’ve convinced me to give this one a try. I really can’t see the repair in your daughter’s glasses, so I’m thinking that this glue would come in mighty handy at my house!

  11. I love Scottish terriers and have a very old ceramic one that my cleaning ladies broke. Ivebeen trying to decide the best way to repair it. This will be perfect!!

  12. I cannot wait to get this tomorrow!!! I’m loving the brush! Glues I’ve tried in the past cause such extra work in trying to repair something…doesn’t hold, squirts in wrong direction, have to have a weight on the item, etc. Bottom line, I’m out & about in the morning shopping for gorilla glue! 🙂

  13. LOve the applicator brush! Other super glues are so messy and i always get my fingers stuck together. I Will definitely be trying the gorilla super glue.
