I didn’t get a chance to post on Thursday so thought I’d drop in quickly today to wish everyone a happy day and to share a few videos that seem perfect for this Sunday.
First, in my opinion Kari Jobe’s Forever is the quintessential contemporary Easter song, and it’s one of my personal favorites:
In Christ Alone is another classic (my family knows that I want this sung at my funeral and I guarantee I’ll be singing along in heaven)! This is a great version:
If you’ve never watched this skit from Mission Baltimore set to Lifehouse’s song Everything, then it’s definitely worth a few minutes of your time. It’s geared toward teens but I think it’s applicable to everyone who feels buffeted by the world.
Last but not least, I thought this video was so clever; it’s a letter from Death to Jesus and then from Jesus back to Death:
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and are able to enjoy it with family. If you can’t get to church or don’t have a church home, come join us online at ours! Here’s a link to Amy’s church and here’s a link to mine.
I’ll be back on Tuesday; until then, thanks for stopping by!
