It seems to me that every post I write begins with a story about the weather. Today is no different, as we are snowed in again (sigh). The kids have been home from school for two days now, our spring break is slowly fading away as we don’t have any more snow days left to spare and everyone is off schedule. Calgon isn’t strong enough to take me away at this point- I need something stronger! Maybe I should treat myself to one of Amy’s Pink Martinis?
Pinterest always helps me to relax, so I enjoyed some down time while my son took his nap. Here are a few of my favorite “green” pins to get you inspired for Saint Patrick’s Day. Wish me luck tomorrow, as I just found out school is closed for the third day in a row.
Not only did Susan from Diamonds for Dessert make one of my favorite spring dishes, she shaped her tin and crust into a four leaf clover. I am definitely planning to copy this adorable idea for a St. Patty’s day brunch. This delicate horseshoe ring is designed by Hedgerow Rose Esty Shop owner Lara Lewis. It is a lovely, yet simple, statement ring.
This is such a great tablescape. Three different shades of ribbon, a crisp white table cloth and centered hydrangeas make this the perfect “Patty” table.
I gave silver Jordan almonds as my wedding favors back in 1998, and I love these green and white almonds just as much. The horseshoe tag is adorable and ties it all together.
Check out this awesome free printable from Kristi at Lolly Lane. I love the black, white, Kelly green and gold. I am sure feeling lucky as I love this sign.
No words…
All I have to say is PUFF PASTRY! I have tried a version of this recipe but I cannot wait to try this one. The picture alone makes my mouth water.
I love the mint shade and style of this purse. It is the perfect spring bag especially with the gold accents.
I think if I could choose to be sitting anywhere right now…. it would be here sipping on this:
A Lucky Leprechaun Cocktail
- 1 oz Midori Melon Liqueur
- 1 oz Mailbu Rum
- 6 oz Pineapple Juice
- Mint sprigs for garnish.
