The internet is all abuzz this week with fun finds from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which officially starts today. My blog and instagram feed has been full of everyone sharing their shopping finds during the early portion of the sale reserved for Nordstroms cardholders. But more important than all the Fall fashion news, I need to tell you that Joanna Gaines’ of Fixer Upper fame has a line of decor items available via Nordstrom. I was so excited to learn this that I added a mention in our weekly newsletter last week, so those of you who receive that already know.
Joanna look Gaines never fails to disappoint, look how great the home accessories are. I can think of so many uses for this crate. I can just see it filled with dried flowers in the fall or with Christmas gifts in the winter. With Nordstrom you always get free shipping {and free returns of course} too, which is nice because some of these items are bulky so shipping could be costly from other retailers.
My favorite find is this frame. I have been searching for a long time for the perfect over-the-mantel piece and this Window Frame is IT, and I think it is at a very reasonable price. It is 32″ so it is pretty substantial–I’ll be sure to show it off once it arrives 🙂 
Finally (though I could keep going they have so many cute things!) look at this darling metal caddy, perfect for summer entertaining or storing school supplies.

This mirror is not from the Joanna Gaines line but I thought it was really pretty and worth the mention, it can be hard to find a nice small mirror for little nooks or over beds, this one is great and again, a nice price during the sale. 
In other Nordstrom Anniversary Sale news {I feel like that is all I have heard about online this week!} I shared on Instagram how much I completely love the Zella activewear line that Nordstrom carries, it is so comfortable and well-made. I force myself to put their clothes on in the AM and then I have no excuse to exercise at some point in the day, even if it is just taking the dogs for a walk 🙂
I admit that I am not quite ready to think about Fall clothes. The sale is full of great deals on all sorts of fun Fall things like boots; I am really, really tempted to add these UGG ones {above} to my collection, is it too early to start a Christmas list? I also am eyeing this sweater and fashion bloggers rave about this line of cozy cardigans so it might be worth grabbing while it is on sale, hard as it is to think about cold weather!
Another quick tip: I signed up recently for the Nordstrom Rewards, they sent me a $10 gift certificate as a thank you. I don’t know that if you sign up you’ll get the same, but it can’t hurt to try?}
