Hello! It’s Friday so it’s time for one of those random posts with all the fun things we need to share with you today!
First of all, I know the holidays are still weeks away but I also know that a few of you would love to get a jump on getting organized for them this year. The full launch of the holiday planner will happen in a few weeks {we will have posts with all the details and a weekly organization series to help you seriously bring your A game this year!} but for now, you can get all the details HERE about this year’s planner. I will mention that I intentionally designed the cover to be not too overtly holiday-ish, so if you want to start using it now {it even has October planning calendars this year}, you won’t get holiday overload so far out :). Also I added a Thanksgiving planner this year, for those of you who already know you are hosting I’d thought I’d mention it, just to make life easier for you.
Moving on, as there will be much more about this soon… just in November :). If you remember a few months ago I shared the design inspiration for my teenage son’s room makeover. It is below if you missed it.

I wanted to pop in and show you the status, we’ve made major progress compared to the before but the best part is this absolutely amazing print we had made for over his bed. We worked with ArtMill, and they did such a great job. I seriously feel like the water is moving when I look at this picture. I still need to add the lamps on either side of his bed, but the space is definitely getting there.
As I mentioned in the first post, I wanted my son to have a really special canvas of our family place in Maine, and Art Mill completely worked with me to make the photo as perfect as possible, convert it to black and white and helped select a product (we went with the Gallery Box Frame). Also, it was so easy to hang, it even came with the hardware, which makes life easier (I kind of hate hanging pictures, anyone else?).
And finally–today is our #Seasonswithstyle day over on Instagram, so for our fashion-minded readers be sure to hop over there and see the outfits our fashionable IG friends are styling today. I admit the Fall weather has me shopping, I am thrilled with the new sweaters I ordered last week.

You saw this sweater in our Fun Fall Fashion posts HERE and HERE, but thought I’d show it to you on me. It is so soft and the sleeves are so fun. I have it with the cute camisole I showed you that came from here, this outfit is seriously going to be on repeat this Fall. I love it with these taller boots I ordered during the NSale, but I also like it with this pair (and they are on sale) in beige.
This sweater is also on sale {and there are additional savings with promo FRESH}, it’s almost 50% off what it was originally and definitely more than I paid, it’s worth it though, I have no regrets!

I had a few minutes to shop last week while my daughter was at ballet so I popped into White House Black Market. I have always had good luck with their clothing, and while some things can be a little on the expensive side they have great sales. I tried on a bunch of sale tops, it’s always such a fun store to shop at because the customer service is the best. I wanted to buy all the sale shirts I tried on (all were less than $30) because they are a deal. I picked up this blue one above because I loved the pattern and thought it would be a great transitional shirt this Fall, plus I kind of loved the boho vibe 🙂
I also loved how this black one looked on, it is longer in the back and made of a light floaty material that is very flattering. In the store we were talking about how this is the perfect date night shirt, and it’s less than $25.
I also tried on this dress, and it is so cute. It is a fun pattern for fall with cute bell sleeves. I really liked that it wasn’t too short on me (I am 5’6 1/2, so this model is much taller than me), it is just a great basic dress and also on sale, and would be perfect with tall boots for Fall.
I came back to my computer so I could add this to this post, it is that important that I tell you all that this tie front top is available and on sale. I purchased this during the Anniversary Sale, it was back ordered and arrived about two weeks ago. I don’t think I have taken it off since! Seriously, if you like cozy clothes this is so soft and looks really cute with leggings or jeans. I thought it was sold out or I would have shared it before because it is just that comfortable, and I think it is pretty cute for loungewear too 🙂
Finally, Pottery Barn has a fun Fall Marketplace going on today, full of Fall decor from all their sister brands (like West Elm, etc) marked down and they are offering free shipping. They have tons of cute pillows {I am loving this one} and fall dishes on sale, you can see it all HERE.
With all that said I’ll wrap up for today, but I hope you all have a great weekend!
XO,
