Even though Spring seems to be completely eluding us here in Virginia, I am still dreaming about warmer days. We are heading out to Florida for Spring Break shortly for a long overdue family vacation, I am craving some sunshine and warm weather in the most serious way.  En route I get to catch up with Christy too, so there is very much to look forward to!

So today for Friday Favorite Finds I am sharing some fun spring styles that I have come across. I actually haven’t ordered too much yet for our trip, though I might need to as all of my spring clothes are in a box somewhere–no idea where– in storage (because of our new house construction). So here is what I have filled my shopping cart with so far.

OUR LATEST VIDEOS

First of all, I purchased this blue top after major regret when I saw it earlier this winter but stalled on buying it. I noticed it came back in stock (or maybe it had been all along and I missed it?) so I bit the shipping bullet and ordered it —ASAP. It’s no secret I love blue, and this top with white jeans will be perfect for a dinner out on our trip. Unfortunately, it is only available in limited sizes as of now, but if you can find it scoop it up! {Weekend update: Loft has 40% off regular prices and an additional 50% off sale today}, use code JACKPOT}

I have been wanting some espadrille sandals, this platform style is everywhere this year but my closet runneth over already with brown/cognac/tan sandals so I couldn’t justify this hot pair {though I may pull the trigger on this pair black, as I do need some in that color), but when I found this pair for $32 that looked just the same (with good reviews), well let’s just say they are on a UPS truck heading my way as we speak 🙂

While we are talking about shoes, aren’t these slides perfect for spring? Just $15! Also from the same site, how cute are these gingham sandals? Also a total steal!

This outfit below is pretty much my go-to Spring/ Summer outfit. I am sure it will get packed first into my suitcase. Well, after bathing suits and flip flops because they are really the most essential, right? I love this white t-shirt, I have linked this year’s version.  Even in winter, this style has been the perfect top to wear under a cardigan. The Tory Burch Miller sandals are an investment, but they look great year after year. This fun clutch has been my go-to for the last two summers, someone always remarks on how much they like it, and this year’s version is extra fun!

If you aren’t traveling, you probably aren’t ready to think about bathing suits yet but I was so excited for our trip, I ordered this suit back in January (for fear it would sell out) it is still available in most sizes (size up!), and now, of course, Loft has a ton of other really cute suits available. I rounded up my favorites in the widget below, most are even on sale. (Note: online bathing suit shopping can be challenging, I ordered a suit from Loft last year, and it was too small. I just called the customer service number and they made it so easy to swap it for a bigger one with no extra charges)

I don’t think too long about bathing suits without also thinking about a cover up, and this one from J. Crew is perfect (and on sale!). They have a ton of ‘getaway’ clothing specially priced right now {plus use code extra for 25% off}. I have this black scalloped neck suit and it is excellent quality, it’s a great basic black one-piece suit.

Also, this shirt above was Christy’s suggestion but this gingham popover shirt is darling. I could have some serious fun styling this with different pants, leopard accessories, statement necklaces or of course (and really, more likely) I will just go casual with jeans or shorts and sandals. I also really like this blue striped peplum top, it has bows in the back, so stinking cute! Quite a few good buys for spring are 50% off here.

Finally, I am not really a skirt girl, though they are a great option for hot days instead of shorts, which might be enough to sell me on this fantastic striped skirt! So cute, I’d pair this with a white tee and the palm clutch and feel like a million bucks!

Finally, I did spring {see what I did there?} for some new nail polish. I ordered this color from Amazon when I placed an order for new headphones for all my children. I actually don’t mind family car trips, especially when they are all entertained 🙂

As always, I’ll add any good deals when I see them over the weekend. We’ll be back with spring decor next week!

  1. Your white tee link is not working and I’d love to know where to find that tee! Would you mind? Thanks!
