Friday Favorite Finds

Happy Friday, everyone! Even if we weren’t coming up on the Fourth of July, I’d still be excited about sharing my red, white, and blue favorites because this is probably my favorite classic color combination. There’s a ton of all three of these colors in my closet already; several of today’s picks are tried and true favorites.

I’ve been wearing my bright red Rothy’s a lot this summer; they are so comfortable and they’re also machine washable.

In other important news, my search for the perfect weekender tote bag is finally over; if you follow us on Facebook then you might have read that I spotted a girl carrying this Longchamp Le Pliage Weekender Tote in the airport a few weeks ago when I was dropping my daughter off for her summer training at the Kansas City Ballet. I have several friends who carry these bags as totes or purses (they come in so many sizes and colors–like hot pink and aqua blue!) and decided it was time to see what all the fuss is about. I love mine! It folds up teeny tiny when I’m not using it, making it the perfect bag for travel, and it’s just such a classic style. I ordered the dark red pictured above, but navy, beige and black and my other favorite colors. It’s ok to have more than one, right?

Last but not least, we’ve shared this navy gingham popover shirt before, and it remains one of my favorites. It sold out the last time we shared it, but they’ve restocked in all sizes, and it’s only $29.50 this weekend. I looked in my closet the other day and I have six different gingham shirts. It’s clearly a sickness.
