I’ll start by saying that it was hard to not post all about spring clothes–I’m at that stage of winter where I am definitely dreaming about spring. It’s been gray and rainy (and icy rainy, the worst) all week here in Virginia, mix that with sick kids and a husband traveling and I am looking forward to sunnier, warmer days for sure.

This is a hard time of year to shop, but at the same time it is certainly the point in the year when we all need a little lift. Sometimes it is nice to treat yourself to a little something, especially if it will easily transition to warmer weather. Also, since it’s President’s Day there are some great sales going on too right now–especially at Loft which has a bunch of $12 items today (read down!).

Also–I have a post coming up about Amazon Fashion, I ordered some items to share that had gotten rave reviews, unfortunately, one of the items hasn’t arrived yet.  Anyway, I’ll have that really soon and I have to say what has arrived has been pretty awesome, it may change the way you think about buying clothes from Amazon. Here is a sneak peek, the quality of this sweater is surprising for the price! It is perfect for spring, it comes in a ton of colors for just $18, the pink (below) is cute too.

I ordered some basics from Old Navy with Super Cash, then I ordered more, and then I ordered even more. I know, but at their low prices, I couldn’t resist. I got sucked into their jeans selection because they were less than $20 a pair. I tried both this pair and this pair and really like them both but fair warning–size up a size, maybe even two sizes, they run small.  Both of these will be cute for spring, and the higher waist takes some getting used to but it’s also kind of nice 🙂

I also ordered two of these shirts above, both in white. As soon as the first one came in I knew I’d want to have a backup. It’s hard to find a nice looking shirt to wear under a cardigan but this one is perfect. It’s a lightweight knit material so it’s a little dressier than a cotton tee and it hangs beautifully. I love the v-neck with a longer necklace, I have had this on repeat recently. I pair it with this tank which is a great base layer, as the shirt is just slightly see-through, also the tanks help keep you warm in the winter.

I ordered this pink pullover for no reason other than it was February, and it was pink. It also looked really warm and I must have been cold when I saw it online and decided I had to have it. Isn’t it cute though?!? We’re heading into the mountains this weekend so it will be perfect up there, they are calling for snow so warm clothes are essential.

Also, just when I think that this sweater above can’t get any cheaper–it does! This is actually the sweater that inspired my The Top 10 Things I Wear All The Time post (and Christy just shared her 10 here), because it is literally my most worn top in the winter. I loved it so much I bought another one when it dropped to $15, but then it was sold out when I wrote the post so I couldn’t include it. It is now available HERE for $10! I wear this with leggings (it is nice and long) or with a cute front tuck if I have on jeans, it’s lightweight but still warm. Note that it is very oversized so don’t size up.  I also have it in black too, I like it that much.

I saw this cocoon cardigan sweater online and can’t stop thinking about it. This isn’t a store I usually shop in, but I think this sweater would look great over a tank (or this pretty scalloped camisole) with white jeans and sandals for spring, I may have to order it!

Loft launched a $15 and under sale today that includes a ton of cute things. Most are $12.88 so if you can’t swing by and pick up the item in the store the shipping isn’t too hard to swallow at that price. I am eying this striped cardigan (above) and this sweater. I also think these leopard pants are really fun! If you scroll to the bottom they have a bunch of their swim on sale too if you are planning a spring getaway.

Finally, for those of you who take your loungewear seriously (like I do!), the Barefoot Dreams line is the creme de la creme…and the best time to buy them is when they are on sale. This ribbed cardigan is under $70 shipped (use coupon code FIVE4U for $5 off) and comes in six colors and sizes XXS-3X.

Here are some warmer weather finds I have been dreaming about, Spring Break can’t get here soon enough.

This $29 maxi dress, it comes in so many colors and would be great as a bathing suit cover-up.

These cute shoes! I may go ahead and order them in case they sell out before spring. These are so in style and the wedge heel makes walking in them manageable. The scallops on these espadrilles are so cute and they are a great price.

How cute is this seersucker top for spring? It is on sale here for $29 plus 30% off right now with the code WKND, that is a good deal!

Too bad it’s too late to drop a hint for Valentine’s Day! Does anyone else think these necklaces are as pretty as I do? I love this Pavé necklace so much. Loft is also doing Loft Cash right now, along with the amazing $12 deals above, you should save the coupons if you get them as I was able to stack them last fall with a 30% off sale for some really good deals, hopefully they will let you do that again!
