As much as I play around with the color combinations in my house, I enjoy doing the same thing with clothes. Today’s post is about some fun new fall fashion items I found and then took one step further combining them into fall color themed outfits. This an easy way to build upon what you already have by adding something new. I have several new fall outfits to share, with some new fall basics, most of which are on sale.
FASHION COLOR COMBINATION:
LIGHT BLUE & GRAY
It goes without saying that I love blue and gray, I am a cool colors girl (I never wear tones like orange or burgundy) so these colors, mixed with white is a combination I’d wear on repeat. The colors could look a bit spring-like, but paired with dark gray and they work for fall too. Plus, this shows you don’t have to retire your white jeans after Labor Day ?.

I added these transitional fall booties I got during the Anniversary Sale last summer, they have been perfect for our still warmer weather (see them below) but you can do a chunkier style fall boot when it gets colder (first picture). This pale blue sweater is so soft and on sale for 40% off right now (they have tons of colors, it’s a great basic). The Y-necklace is also on sale (it’s actually 2 necklaces in one, the shorter and the longer Y one).
Before I move on, here’s a great sale alert for you. I about choked when I saw the price of these tall Vince Camuto boots I am wearing in the top picture–they were the “it” boot last year, and I love mine (still!), but look at the price of them on sale HERE. Also, this shorter style is going for much less HERE too, those of you who waited to purchase these can laugh all the way to the bank!
FASHION COLOR COMBINATION:
Camel, White & Leopard
I love, love this color combination for fall. It’s perfect for the transitional weather at this time of year and I think it looks so polished. This short sleeve cardigan sold out in many sizes in a hot minute but there is another alternative on sale HERE (and let’s hope they restock, it’s a good one!).
I paired the cardigan with a basic white tee and black pants with brown accessories. The touch of leopard is what makes it fun, add a leopard belt, or dress it up with a pair of pumps for a dinner out or even a casual work outfit. If you are in the market for leopard flats, these are 30% off.

I could not resist ordering these boots, I have been on the hunt for a pair of wedge heeled boots forever, and wanting this sand color for ages so this perfectly combined both things. I love how they look with this outfit for cooler weather. They almost make me excited about summer ending (almost).
I am throwing in a bonus outfit (not part of the three color combos) but I have been wearing this ruffle blouse everywhere. I actually ordered the petite by accident, and it fits fine though the sleeves are a little bit more 3/4 length. That works fine considering the weather is still really warm around here. I’d normally think of this as a casual top, but when I dressed it up with fun shoes and a chunky pearl necklace it was perfect for a dinner out or a party where you want to fall somewhere between dressy and casual.
FASHION COLOR COMBINATION:
Navy, Cream & Olive
Navy is a great all around color, it works in the same way black does in that it goes with so many things. This is such a great sweater, it’s been around for several years and is made with a very fine thin yarn so it’s lightweight and perfect for this time of year. The trend right now is to layer a cardigan over a silky camisole for a little bit dressier look, though it would also be pretty over a t-shirt for an everyday look.

I thought it would be fun to try this sweater with olive, and I really liked it. The two colors are complementary, and the olive gives the outfit a bit of a fall edge. You can also pair it with jeans of course. The navy cardigan sweater is also available in other colors, it’s a great investment piece. I did find that it runs a bit large in the shoulders, I actually ordered the petite small and it fits great (I returned a regular XS first ), I am 5’6″/5’7″ so I typically don’t wear petite sizes but this time it worked out well. Other colors are available here.

One final outfit just because I love it. How cute are these sleeves on this white sweater? So fun! 40% off too.
I hope you enjoyed these outfits, I had fun putting them together in different combinations. It makes me use what is in my closet in different ways, instead of wearing the same things over and over again. Shop all my favorite fall finds below:

Love your choices Amy. Found a lot of inspiration that I could add to things I already own. That necklace is darling.

Thanks so much! I really love the necklace, I am wearing the shorter part on its own right now. Hope your settling in back home. XO, Amy
